How Everyone Unknowingly Missed the Point of Arthur's Big Hit

"StarCounting, after a bunch of clickbait chapters, you've decided to do one on a kids show? What's wrong with you?"

I know it sounds stupid, but I've been wanting to get it out of my head for a very long time.

"And how did anybody missed the point of that episode? Clearly, the creators knew she was the most annoying character of the show, so they decided to teach her a lesson. End of story."

Yeah, yeah. I get it. DW's annoying, blah blah blah, she totally deserved it, but that wasn't really the point.

"StarCounting, what are you saying?"

I'm saying that the episode wasn't against DW , but rather to the fans.

To explain, think it as this way; you know the iCarly episode "iStart a Fan War"?

"What does that have to do with this? "

Well, if you think about it, the fans in the episode can be the portrayal of how aggressive shippers are. They're possessive about their ships, argue with and barely talk about the characters or the show at all. In other words, that was how the creators thought of shipping.

And Arthur's Big Hit did the same thing.

Think about it; Arthur pretty much represents every fan who utterly hates DW to the core. Admit it🙄; I know that you would want to punch DW in the face so badly. Why do you think everyone liked that episode so much?

But anyway, as I was saying, Arthur's behavior is what almost DW hater would do; punch her for being bratty and say that she'd deserved it. Face it, Arthur fandom just say it; go ahead and say you hate DW with every fiber in your being and you want to give her a slap in the face. Just say it out loud.

See? That's how Arthur was in the episode. He kept saying like "she should apologize to me" and "you don't understand what she did to me" and other excuses like that. I know everyone is going to agree with him, but think about this;

Have you noticed how little DW complained in it?

I mean, DW didn't whine that much in the episode  at all. All she said was "what kind of plane doesn't even fly" and "you're bad". Those are like basic complaints;

Finally,  Binky is the other part of the Arthur fan base who is bored with the DW haters. To be honest, hitting a little girl sounds really harsh, no matter what. (Yes, even if she's really annoying). But anyway, after thinking about it, Binky acts how a regular Arthur fan would deal with DW hate everywhere  ; avoid them as possible and  when they have the chance, they give them a taste of their own medicine.

Also, everyone forgot that DW did apologize to Arthur at the end of the episode;

Arthur: I'm sorry that I hit you.

DW: I'm sorry that I broke your plane, but what kind of stupid plane that doesn't even fly?

Arthur: A model plane.

DW: How am I supposed to know? I'm just a child! Gimme a break!

(Yeah, this is true. I actually watched the whole episode and that was in it. )
