Just in case. My mum doesn't have to know about it. Well, I guess she is already at her new room, unpacking her personal things. This is really weird. My mum is very overprotective, but this time I think she doesn't really mind.

I was told that this neighborhood is a little bit dangerous. I wasn't afraid of anything though, as a lot have happenned in my life.

I unpacked the last things from the big box and I got downstairs. I saw Austin walking through the kitchen trying to find something to eat. Austin is my little brother. He is six years old and really cute. His tawny straight short hair cover his light brown eyes and sometimes I think he actually can't see. I stared at him for a bit and didn't notice that he was going to drop the box with the food on the floor.

"I got it!", I yelled, really loud and he kind of jump when he heard me.

"Thanks, Rose", he giggled with a mouth full with cereals.

I observed him as he was eating trying to understand if this whole situation makes him sad or anything.

"Stop staring at me", he whined dropping his spoon down on the floor making a annoying sound.

Austin loved basketball. My dad was his coach and they were playing together until my dad left. My mum doesn't want us to talk about it, but I think that this is bullshit. We don't need to hide things like this, this is reality and it's not going to change, like a bad dream. But my mum can't understand. That's why I didn't let her know about my dad's CDs.

My mother is a very organizational person and she wants me to let her know about my plans without letting me be independent. Well, she was, in fact I don't even recognize her anymore. Anyway, my mum is very disappointed with my dad, she doesn't really know the real reason he left but she didn't let him to tell her the truth. My dad is a singer. Not a famous one. He just sings at weddings and at home. Actually, he was. I don't really know what he is doing right now. I wish I knew.

I went upstairs to continue unpacking when I heard a noise coming from the street outside. I reached my, unfortunately small, balcony and took a peek at the street. My eyes widened when I saw some boys punching each other. There was actual blood on the road and someone was passed out. Great. I have to look at my back when I go out.

I rolled my eyes at their immaturity and decided to unpack the rest of my stuff from the remaining boxes. Stupid boys. I'll never understand them. Period.

I was ready to head in the shower when I heard someone screaming something, I think it was a name, 'Peter'?! I run to my window opening the french door to see what had happened. I frowned as there was nothing to look at.

Okay, this is really weird. Who are they? And why were they fighting?

Heey guys, so this is the first chapter. I know it's kind of boring because it is the first one but I think you'll love it!! Let me know about your opinion and keep posting :)) Thanks <3

                Have a great dayy :)
