I woke up from a really loud noise from outside. I think it was a shot? Maybe a bengal? What the hell?? It's like 5 in the morning I need my eight hours of beauty sleep otherwise I'll be like a zombie tomorrow.

I groaned as I got up and I went to my window careful not to stumble on a box. I could see the street clearly due to the giant searchlight, as I call, my mother wanted to put there. This woman is so not normal. I gasped and quickly rubbed my eyes when I saw someone lying on the ground, again. Panicked, Ι went downstairs to try call 911 but my phone's battery was dead. I strolled around to call from the home phone. I searched it into the darkness of our kitchen with trembling hands. Pressing the three numbers on the device I felt more and more shocked. A wave of relief washed over me the second I heard a serious woman's voice telling me that I had called 911.

After I informed my mum about my call and the dead boy on the street, the police was already here. My legs were shaking as the ambulance came to pick the dead corpse. Well, that's a good way to start your day with. And as if all of that wasn't enough I remembered I had a school to attend to. Awesome, this could't get any better.

                                                                                              *****

I rushed down the hall of the high school nearby as I was trying to find the register office to sign up my self. I finally found it and walked in when I saw a lady behind a desk talking on her phone absorbed in a conversation. I am very positive it was about a cat. Right.

"Excuse me", I said quietly but she didn't even turned around.

"Well hello there, Shana", someone said from behind me. I looked behind my shoulder and saw a very, very handsome guy, with blond hair and blue sparkling eyes, smirking at the lady on the desk. She gazed at him disturbed and rolled her eyes continuing to talk on the phone.

"Stop talking on the phone babe, I need something for Mrs Palms.", he said now looking at me with the smirk still plastered on his face, licking his pink -fleshy-lips. I didn't say a word, just stood there doing nothing. "What's your name majestic creature?", he didn't hesitate saying that out loud. I felt my cheeks turning into a soft pink color and I looked down to hide my face.

"Mrs Forest we are so happy to have you here. I'm sorry for kept you waiting, here are your papers and your schedule for your periods", said Shana ignoring the boy in front of me. I immediately took the papers she gave me and muttered a small 'thanks' as I turned around to go to my first period which was Math. Ugh.

I walked into the class slowly to make sure it was the right one and then behind me came the boy from earlier.

"Thank you for joining us Tyler, it's an honor", I assume my teacher, Mr Nobs.

Tyler turned around and winked at me, then went to his seat earning a glare from Mr Nobs and some  greedy gazes from some girls sitting close to him.

Great! I've met the player of the school, just awesome.

Everyone kept staring at me and I didn't actually know what to do so I just stood there with my bag around my shoulder trying not to slouch.

"Class, this is Rosemary Forest. She is new here and I would like for you to behave well to her. She is from London and a really good student with perfect grades", exclaimed Mrs Nobs and my cheeks turned red when I smiled shyly.

"Well that depends. She already hit on Tyler, she has lost my vote", a girl offended me with her very high pitched annoying voice. I looked at her clenching my fists and deciding not to say a word as this is my first day. She flipped her long blond hair behind her shoulder that reached her waist making me notice the skirt she was wearing, or maybe her belt. I guess she is one of the sluts of the school that everybody loves/hates.
