Part 6 I Can Help

Marley and Gwen drive into the city fast. "So, why does Bane need our help?" Gwen asks curiously. "No time, put this on and put your hair in pig tails. He hands her a tight black jumpsuit. "Okay..." Gwen climbs to the back of the car. As she is changing, Marley looks in the rear view mirror and smirks. "Hey! Eyes on the road!" Gwen says laughing. When she is done, she climbs back to the front and starts on her hair. "Just one modification." Marley gives her black lipstick and eye liner. "Have fun!" he says. Gwen pulls down he mirror and does sorta jester makeup around her eyes with the liner then puts on black lipstick. "Now you take the wheel!" he laughs and climbs into the back to change. "WAIT!! I CANT DRIVE!!!" Gwen screams. "Its easy, just push down the petals and turn the wheel!" Marley says laughing. "Ahh! Fine!" Gwen climbs over and takes the wheel. "Of, this is easy!" she says. "But I don't have a license." she says. "Then don't swerve, speed, and I don't think you have been drinking and the windows are tinted so your fine." He says buttoning his vest. "Ok, now move!" He says pushing Gwen into the passengers seat. "I don't have time, can you do my makeup?" he asks her. "Okay."

They pull into a free parking garage and Marley looks in the mirror. "Wow, your better than me!" he says getting out. "Now come on!" He says walking away. Gwen runs up to him. "Can you please tell me where we are going?" she asks walking close to him. "Town square." he replies looking straight ahead. "Why?" Gwen asks. "Because Bane, Batman, and about half the city are there. They are fighting and everyone is o afraid to brake them up. So we are going to, well mainly you." He explains. "What? Why me?" Gwen asks. "Well your smaller, faster, and more flexible than me." he says. "Aww, really?" Gwen blushes.

They walk up to town square and almost nobody notices them because of Batman and Bane. They are pushing each other into cars, pillars, and buildings. "Wow!" Gwen whispers to herself. "Go now honey!" Marley pushes her into the open space where they are fighting. She runs and kicks Batman in the side of the head before he can punch Bane. Bane grabs her arm, "Who are you and what are you doing?!" he asks. "Its me!" she glares at him then at Marley. He looks over to Marley. "Oh! G-" she cuts him off. "No! No names! I'm helping you!". Batman runs over and tries to punch Bane again but Gwen blocks it-with her face-she falls to the ground but quickly gets back up. She wipes blood from her face and lunges at him. She thrown him to the ground and punches him hard. He throws her off and she goes flying and hits one of the pillars outside of the bank. "Ahh!" she screams failing forward. She hits the ground hard but gets back up almost immediately. With a single trickle of blood running from the corner of her mouth o her chin, she walks back toward Batman slowly. Batman punches Bane's mask repeatedly. Finally, Bane falls to the ground. He slumps down with his back on a mail box struggleing to breathe. "Bane!" Gwen screams runing tward him. "Are you ok?" she asks franyically. She can see that his eyes are tearing up and he cant breath. "Oh god! Wait! Its this thing!'' she puts one of the tiny pipes in his mask back in the whole and screws one of the knobs to the right like she sees on the other ones. She turns aroung to se Batman wiping blood off his nose and pounces on him. She repetedly punches him. "You! Hurt! My! Friend!" she screams. He throws her off and jumps up a fire escape then disapperes. "Ya you better run!" Gwen says getting up. she walks back to Bane and helps him up. "You okay?" she asks. "Yes thankyou." he replies. Gwen looks into the crowd of people. "Wait, wheres Ma- I mean Joker?" She franticly looks around. She runs as fast as she can to the parking gargage only to make friends with Marley's  bumper. "Gwen!!!" he screams getting out of the car. "I didnt see you Im sorry!" he kneels down. Gwen sits up. "Really? You didnt see me run right in front of your car? Why were you leaving me anyway!?" she asks. "Sweetie, i would never leave you, i was coming back for you. Now get in the car!" he says getting up.

Three Hours Later:

They arrive back at the warehouse and walk in the door. Gwen plops down on the couch and takes her hair out. Pam walks over and sits down next to her. "Hun, were you in a figh or something?" Pam says inspecting he blood driping from her mouth, nose, and foorhead. "Sorta." Gwen replies. Pam brushes some of Gwen's hair out of her face, "Hun, you look terrible, what did Joker do to you?" she asks. "Well, he made me fight Batman then hit me with his car!" she says with a sigh. "Oh my God! I hope it wasnt on purpose!" she says slightly sitting up. "No, on accident." Gwen replies.

Gwens phone goes off. "Oh I gotta go!" she gets up and walks down the hallway to Marley's room. He is sitting at his desk with a clutter of papers in front of him smoothing back his hair. "Hey." she says walking in. He turns his head. "Hi babe.". "I gotta go home, but ill text you." she says hugging him from behind. "Wait, you cant go home looking like that, go wash off your face first." he kisses her. "Ok." she walks down he hall and into the bathroom. Gwen has to wash her face multipule times before all the makeup and blood comes off. She walks back into Marley's room. He hugs her "Do you need me to drive you?" he asks. "No, i think ill walk." she replies. "Okay bye.". "Bye!'' she runs out the door.
