I woke up to the soft snores of Thomas.  He looked so cute in his sleep, and I couldn't help but stare. Maybe it was him that I kissed drunk. I hope it was because I'd never regret kissing Thomas.

Oh my god. I thought. That article is right. There is definitely something going on between us and I want it.

I eased myself out from under us arm and splashed water on my face in the bathroom.

"You just had to fall for him didn't you," I told myself in the mirror.

I looked at the clock. Six thirty. Just in time for supper. I was starving. I scribbled Thomas a note explaining where I was going and got dressed.

I stepped out into the hall and took the elevator down to the restaurant that Julien says has the best food in the whole world.

I seen a table where Julien, Mathieu, Mat and Jake Bean all sat and I walked over and joined them.

"You look like you crawled out of hell," Mat stated.

"No actually I crawled out of bed, but thanks," then I added, "Did you guys see me kiss anyone last night?"

"Thomas," they all said in unison.

"Oh god," I said.

"Aww do you have a little crushy wushy on Thomas?" Julien teased.

"I like him as a friend and nothing more. I think we both know that," I stated.

"You are telling lies," called a voice from behind.

It was Thomas. I mentally rolled my eyes, or maybe I actually did. Who knows?

"Lucy lied. She likes me as more than a friend, and I'd be a liar if I said I liked her as a friend too," he said sitting in the chair right across from me.

What the hell just happened?

I'm pretty sure my mouth was hanging open.

"Oh my god! Lucy and Thomas are totally gonna be together by the end of this! I'll bet money on this I'm so positive," Mat said as the waitress came by with the menus.

"Yes let's do bets!" Julien yelled.

"Let's see if I can save you the money," Thomas said looking at me. "Lucy, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked.

I was so shocked my mouth didn't know how to form the words that my heart wanted to scream out.

"Yes," I finally said.

The smile that lit up Thomas' face was simply amazing. Thomas is just simply amazing. I'm so lucky to have him.

We ordered our food, and ate it while listening to Julien's terrible jokes and relationship advice that I definitely would not follow, or recommend that anyone follow. Seriously, it's absolutely terrible.

After we ate, Thomas and I went back to my room.

"How did you know that I liked you?" I asked.

"I was half awake when you went to the bathroom, so I heard what you said. And you kissed me last night. But I realized that I felt the same way about you Lucy. I don't care what the press or the media says, I'm crazy about you and I want you to be mine."

"And we kind of made out after we seen the team roster, can't forget about that," I said laughing.

"You were definitely digging that," he said winking.

"Definitely," I said smiling. "But what are we gonna do after this? You go back to Saint John and I'll be a nobody again."

"You'll never be a nobody. You're already such a huge role model to so many little girls across the world. Lucy,  a team is gonna draft you. You just wait you'll have tons of offers! You're absolutely amazing and you don't even realize it. You are going to go places and I hope it's with me to Saint John. But if not, you'll always have me, even if you go far away and we can't be together anymore, I'll always wait for you," he told me kissing my forehead.

"I hope it doesn't come to that. But I'll always wait for you too," I said hugging him.

I can't lose Thomas when I just got him.

THOMAS' P.O.V.

I have to get Lucy to Saint John. She's going to be so heartbroken if I have to leave her. I know she's a strong girl and would never let on, but I have to do anything and everything in my power to keep us together. I know she's good for me. My parents will lover her just as much as I do, and that does say a lot.

I immediately call the head coach for the Sea Dogs and explain everything. He said that he would send out a scout to our pre-tournament game tomorrow. He also told me that he's already been looking at her as a player. The thought of playing with Lucy outside of this tournament excites me. The thought of us not having to break up also excites me; I think I love her already.

As I went to bed that night in my room, wishing I was with Lucy, my mind couldn't stop racing. Lucy Pilmer, the girl who plays with the boys, is my girlfriend. And my coach in Saint John is considering signing her! I think I might be the luckiest guy in the whole world.

Actually I know I'm the luckiest guy in the whole world.
