"Thank you for visiting as much as you can."
Elias looked up to see Queen Sophia with a tray of tea and slice of cake. He smiled and thanked her.
"I want to there when she wakes up," He replied as the queen smiled.
"She's lucky to have someone like you. If you need anything just call for the nurse. I have to go to a business meeting with my husband."
"Okay, thank you."
Elias turned back to the bed in front of him. His lip trembled as he grabbed her hands and held them tightly.
"I-I wish you will let us know you're okay."
It's been a month since the battle. All the witches were sent back to their representative kingdoms and accounted for their crimes. There have been many meetings with heads of the kingdoms to create another treaty once again and even create an education system that informs the witches and gifted of the wars and sacrifice that occurred. Maybe then people will realize that the best way in life is to coexist. Nothing major has happened and peace seemed to be restored. However, the one who took part in ending the battle never woke up.
{Name}'s powers kept trying to take over her and many different gifted had to take part in helping to prevent it from taking her life. It lasted all through the night and just when all hope was lost, it just stopped. Maybe it was the collected effort or maybe it was the appreciation and love that everyone had for {Name}, but no one knows. However, she never woke up that day, or the next day or the day after. Many healers examined her condition and her body was fine and her heart beat healthily, however, why she would not wake up was a mystery. They diagnosed her as being in a coma. Everyday healers would come by to heal her and always maintain her nutrient balance and make sure her vitals are okay.
Elias tried to visit as much as he can, always asking the healers for any update, but there wasn't anything notable. He lately hasn't been visiting these past two weeks because he had to take care of business back at Arendelle.
"Hey, {Name}. Sorry I haven't been visiting. It's been busy back at Arendelle. There has been a lot of trade business. But h-hey when you wake up you should meet my friend. He's been with me and Andrew for a while, since we were kids. His name is Olaf and makes the room brighten up. I wished I introduced you to him sooner, but he wanted to venture to a place that was warmer. He even went to the beach. You will be super surprised when you see what he's like, but I bet you will love him to bits, so..." Elias gulped. "P-please wake up."
Elias could feel tears falling down his cheeks as he wiped them with one hand and continued to hold {Name}'s hand. It hurt to see {Name} not opening her eyes or seeing her smile. He missed her bright look and smile. He missed her voice and her laugh. Elias began to sob even more as he placed his head over her hands as tears began to wet it.
"I love you. I will never let you go." He muttered.
Suddenly he felt something touch his face. He opened his eyes to see a finger move against his wet cheeks. Elias trembled as he slowly lifted his head up to see the familiar bright eyes looking at him, thought squinting and weak, he still could see how bright they were.
"E-elias?"
Elias grasped both of her hands and smiled through his tears, "You're awake."
"I-is it finally over?" {Name} croaked weakly as Elias nodded.
"Yes. Yes, it's over."
"That's good," She replied as she closed her eyes.
Elias shouted for the healers and immediately they came rushing in, followed by Finn and her mother. {Name} could hear everyone's voices as she slowly opened her eyes and smiled at them.
"How long has it been?" She asked as her mother took her hands.
"Too long sweetie. Way too long," Her mother replied with tears brimming.
"Just a month," Finn added as clarification as {Name} grinned weakly.
"Thanks."
The door knocked as {Name} looked up to see her father and an elderly just refined lady. He immediately rushed over and gave {Name} a tight hug, earning a light slap on the shoulder by the Queen as she scolded him to be gently with her.
"I'm glad you finally woke up. I want to introduce you to someone. This is Madam Vivian. She's the highest witch in the council of witches and we have been working together to find a way to bring true peace between different beings," Her father introduced as Madam Vivian walked over and took {Name}'s hands.
"I apologize for everything those witches did and I really appreciate how you handled them. It was obvious you are a true peacemaker. We will try to work hard to make sure an event like this won't happen again. I have many past generations who have had ill thoughts and I would like to be the era to stop those ill thoughts and not have history repeat itself. In fact, many witches appreciate you for what you did. You displayed humanity and respect so thank you," She thanked as {Name} smiled.
"Let's work together to create a better future."
"Yes. Let's. But for now, you should get some sleep. I can sense that you are still rather weak from the incident. Breaking a prophecy is not an easy thing to do," She winked as {Name} widened her eyes.
"D-did I r-really?" {Name} asked.
Elias turned to {Name} and nodded, "The trolls came by and the elder one sensed that you're fate has been altered."
{Name} began to feel tears fall down her face, "I'm glad."
Finn widened his eyes, "Does that mean a calamity won't happen again?" He asked.
Elias shook his head, "No, it's more like we all believed in ourselves and worked together. If anything like this happens again. We will work together once more to put a stop to it. And most of all, the reason you broke away from the prophecy was because you were surrounded with all types of love. From friendship, to sibling love, to family love and of course..." Elias trailed off as everyone in the room grew quiet as Madam Vivian cleared her throat.
"Let's give the two some alone time. They need to catch up on their long needed reunion," She stated as everyone nodded.
One by one everyone gave their goodbyes and hugs and before {Name}'s father shut the door he called out, "Oi Elias, you know I approve of you two, so don't be afraid to propose or anything like that!"
"DAD!"
"Richard! Don't tease the kids!" Queen Sophia scolded.
Finally the door shut as Elias sighed and smiled as he turned to {Name} and locked eyes with her. He brushed her hair away from her face and examined every detail of it.
"I love you," He spoke in a hushed tone.
{Name} smiled, "I love you too."
{Name} looked to see Elias looking up at her eyes and then her lips as he bent down, closer to her. She closed her eyes as she could feel the soft warmness of his lips on hers. He smelled of peppermint and smoked cherry wood. The two pulled apart as {Name} felt her face grew hot.
"You just kissed someone who was knocked out for like a month," {Name} realized as she immediately covered herself in embarrassment.
Elias smiled as he pulled the covers away from her, "I would kiss you even if you ate garlic and a pickled frog," He teased as he gave her another peck. "Plus the healers always maintained your body wellness and cleanliness so I didn't notice anything bad."
"O-Oh."
Elias smiled as he pulled her once more into a deep kiss. He carefully held onto her locks of hair as she gently put her hand on his chest. They pulled away again as the two had flushed cheeks.
"Don't ever leave me," Elias muttered.
"I won't."
Elias smiled as he hugged her.
"I love you."
