Jacob was in a state of mind where he couldn't deal with all his problems. He decided that instead of having to he will just blame it on some unknown force. Hence the watchers. Kayla was a character I added in to make it clear how much he believed in the watchers and how they are ruining his life. The watchers of course did not exist they were just a figment of his imagination and how he delt with his problems until finally he broke. Kayla tried really hard to get in his small bubble but he kept pushing her out. He broke. Jacobs life was going crazy and he just needed a way out. Death.
