4: blue eyes

I had science and then maths after English, then it was lunch time, I sat with Louise at lunch and she pointed out that Phil was, yet again, stating at me from across the hall,
"He's probably looking at the people behind me" I said
"Hmm.. " Louise said, examining my face.
"What..?' I ask, managing a nervous laugh
"Oh nothing" Louise suspiciously looked at Phil, then back at me, and smiled to herself.
I brushed it off and pretended I didn't care, he probably wasn't looking at me anyway, there are plenty more, prettier people to be staring at.
After lunch we went back to lessons and I checked my timetable to see I have double history,
"Ughhh Mr Adams hates me" I moan to Louise
"Aw im sure he just really really dislikes you" she said, smiling
I laughed and made my way to room 28, my history room.
I sat down in my usual seat and I passed the time by staring out the window watching as the rain fell and dripped down the glass.
"Daniel, what are your views?" Oh for fucks sake. The teacher interrupted my thoughts and I felt my face heat up, he asked me because he knew I wasn't listening, ugh I hate teachers like him.
"I um..." I looked around the room and saw people staring, Phil was on the other side of the room, his head tilted slightly up and the same smirk spread across his goddamn gorgeous face.
"I-I don't know, sir" i say, avoiding eye contact with anyone and everyone.
Mr Adams sighed and then said "that's because you weren't listening, I'll speak to you at the end"
Great now I've gone and got myself a fucking detention.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, I checked to see if the teacher was looking and quickly opened the message to see it was from Phil. How did he get my number?

Phil: didn't think you'd be the kind of person to get a detention ;)
Dan: i didn't get it on purpose, you spork.
Phil: who you calling a spork?
Dan: why are you talking to me anyway..? I like being alone.
Phil: well it's a shame that I'll be joining you in detention then, isn't it ;)

Phil had a detention too?
Great, I've got a detention, with Phil Lester.

I plugged in my earphones and put my music on shuffle, waiting for the lesson to pass by so I can just get the detention over and done with. The bell went shortly after and everyone began to pack away their things. Once the other students had left, it was just me, the teacher... And Phil. We had a short lecture about the importance of learning and shit, and we then sat in silence while Mr Adams finished some marking.

We were about half way into our half an our detention, when I felt something hit the back of my head. I turned to see a small note had been thrown at me. I checked to see if sir was looking, then ducked down to retrieve the note. I unscrewed it and smoothed out the creases.

How do you make flower crowns? -p

What? I turned around again, facing Phil who was already staring at me. I scribbled down a quick note and threw it back to him.

Why do YOU want to know? -d

Mr Adams broke the silence and told us to leave, I packed away my books and swung my bag over my back. I walked out the room with my head down, and bumped into someone as I shut the classroom door behind me.

I looked up to see a boy with Raven hair, piercing blue eyes, god those eyes, and tattoos- Phil Lester.

"Oh s-sorry!" I was suddenly afraid, was he angry at me?! It was only an accident, but Phil Lester wasn't the kind of person to appreciate ""accidents""
He looked down at me (yes I know Dan is taller irl but in this Phil is taller ok) and stared at me for a few seconds. I gulped, afraid of what would happen next.

To my surprise, all he said was "watch where you're going, Howell, we don't want you to get any bruises on your pretty face from being so clumsy, now do we?"

I looked down and started to walk away, I made my way to the exit and realised it was raining, great. I was walking out of school, the cold rain dripping down my neck, when I heard a car pull up next to me.

"You coming in or what?" It was Phil.

Sorry this story is moving quite slowly, I promise it won't be like this for long, I've got a few ideas for the next few chapters and I'm so excited to publish them! also thank you so much to the people who are voting, it means a lot! x
