Friday 21st February 1964

We spent the last couple days mainly at the beach. It was a lot of fun! I did one of my favourite things... surfing. I tried teaching Ringo to surf but he kept falling off the surfboard.
Today The Beatles were going back to New York then back to London. I was flying to New York with them but then I fly off to Los Angeles. I didn't want to leave Ringo. I've never felt so loved before. We met up in the lobby and we jumped into a limo. We left Miami at 6:00am and arrived in New York 3 hours later. It was time to go our separate ways. "We're going to miss you Lucy" Paul said as he and George hugged me. John walked up to me and gave me a hug. "I'm glad we can be friends Lucy" he said. "Me too" I agreed. Ringo gave me a massive hug and we shared a passionate kiss. "Get a room you two!" George yelled. Everyone laughed except John, who looked jealous. "I'll call you everyday" Ringo said. "I'll miss you so much Ringo. I wish we could be together forever" I sobbed into his shoulder. "Maybe one day but until then, wear this to remind you of the love that we share" he whispered as he handed me a box. I opened it up and inside it was a gold bracelet with a heart charm on it. On the heart it said R & L. "It's beautiful! Thank you!" I said as I kissed him. My flight number was called over the intercom. I said my final goodbyes and left. I got on the plane with tears in my eyes. I didn't know when I was seeing Ringo again.

I arrived in Los Angeles 6 hours later. I walked off the plane and was greeted by Davy. "Lucy!" Davy yelled as he hugged me. "I missed you!" Davy said. "I missed you too" I giggled. "How was Miami?" He asked. "I'll tell you all about it when we get back to the apartment" I said.

We so arrived at the apartment. I shared the apartment with Davy. I told him everything that happened. About how me and Ringo are official, the near kiss and near make-out session with John and the swimming accident. "Sounds like you had a interesting time" Davy said as he sipped his tea. "It certainly was" I said. I just got up to get some biscuits when the phone rang. "I'll answer it" Davy yelled. "'Ello Davy speaking" "yes she's back" "ok meet you at Capitol Records in 10" "ok bye" Davy hanged up the phone. "What was that about?" I asked curiously. "Well come down to Capitol Records and find out" he said. I grabbed my purse when Davy said "You better bring your song writing book." So I grabbed that and we left.

We arrived at Capitol Records a couple minutes later. "Can you please explain why we're here?" I asked. "Well while you were in Miami, I ran into record producer Nick Venet and well he had seen me preform on stage and long story short, I got a record deal with Capitol" he said. "Wow! Congratulations but I herd you mention me on the phone" I said. "Oh yeah. I told him about your song writing and I showed him and a musician who was with him at the time and well he's  interested in your songs. The musician that is" Davy said. "Seriously?!" I yelled with excitement. "Shall we go in?" he asked. I nodded.

We walked in and walked to the front desk. "You must be Davy and Lucy Jones. You may go in. Mr. Venet is expecting you" the lady said. We started to walk in. I was nervous. "Hello Davy" Nick said. "And you must be Lucy. Did Davy tell you?" he asked. "Yes he did. But may I ask who is interested in my songs?" I asked. "I am." I turned around to see who it was. "Lucy I want you to meet Brian Wilson, Brian this is my twin sister Lucy" Davy said. "Nice to meet you Brian" I said trying to hold my excitement. "Nice to meet you too Lucy" Brian said as he shook my hand. "Davy showed me some of the songs you have written and they're really good" he said. "Thank you" I smiled. He smiled back. He had a cute crooked smile. "And I was wondering if it's ok if I could record a couple of those songs for our new album" he said. "That would be amazing. Do you really think they're that good?" I asked. "Yes. I defiantly think you have talent" he said. I couldn't help but blush. I mean, my favourite singer in the whole world thinks I'm talented. We sat around and talked. Davy was talking to Nick about the recording process and Brian and I were talking about which songs The Beach Boys were going to record. We decided on 'In My Room' and 'I Get Around'. I changed the lyrics around a bit so it suits the guys.

The last few weeks have been a blast. The Beach Boys have started to record the songs and Brian and I have been writing songs together. It's a dream come true for me. But I kept thinking about Ringo. I miss him so much.

I just had to include The Beach Boys. I love them too much not to include them. I hope you are enjoying the story.
