Chapter 1 My Birthday Surprise

 Chapter 1- My Birthday Surprise

     It has been four years since the Cullens left me behind in more pain that i thought was possible. During the first year, I felt like there was a huge hole in my body whenever someone brought anything up that reminded me of the Cullens. Now that pain is completley gone, and I can really think about my time with them. I miss Alice, Jasper, Emmett, Esme, Carlisle, and even Rosalie.

    The only one I don't miss is the traitor, Edward, after leaving me lost in the forest in the dark and coldness.  I look back on our rime together and find it ridiculous that I even thought that  Edward loved me. To believe all his lies. Every kiss and touch to mean nothing to him. Well, I don't care because I have found someone even better then that piece of nothing . His name is Jacob.

       I have felt so relieved that Jacob accepted me with open arms after I choose Edward. I go down to La Push almost every day and most of my weekends. Well, my life pretty much comes down to spending time with my best friend/boyfriend Jacob, cooking for Charlie, and looking for a house of my own. Well more like getting money to pay for my house.

     Today is my 21st birthday, so I am heading down to La Push because Jake and the pack are throwing me a party.

    As soon as I pulled up Jacob was opening my door, pulling me into a big hug, and giving me a kiss. Man, do I love being in his warm, strong arms!

   "Bella, Happy Birthday!"

   "Hey Jake. Thanks! Can you let me go now, I sort of can't breathe."

   "Woops, sorry honey. I am just so excited to give you your present! I know your going to love it!"

   "Uggh! I told you that I didn't want you to get me anything. Why won't you listen?'

    " Because the best girlfriend in the world deserves a great gift, and because I still would of given you something soon anyway, so I figured I might as well give it to you on your birthday. Thats why I won't listen."

   "Fine, but-"

   I was then interrupted by Seth, Quil, Embry, Leah, Paul, Sam, Emily, Kim, Sue, Billy, Jared, and the rest of the pack coming out to wish me a happy birthday. Well, mabey not so much Leah, she still isn't a big fan of me. She has gotten better though, she dosen't give me death glares all the time. 

   Seth got to me first. " Bella! Happy Birthday!"  He said that as he pulled me up into a great big hug, but put me down just as quick when Jake growled. "Oh, I am so glad that you could come down to celebrate with us! Is Charle coming?"

   " Hey Seth. Yeah, he'll be here in an hour or so, and thanks I'm glad I could come down too!"

    "Thats cool, and Jake, I just was giving my friend a hug. No need to get worked uo about it."

    Then Quil said "Hey, you still aren't tired of hanging out with us? Well we are glad you are hanging out with us instead of those reeking bloodsuckers, and Happy Birthday!" 

    "No, not tired yet, and thanks" I said wishing the spotlight was on someone else.

      Everyone came and gave me a hug wishing me happy birthday, and then we all went inside because it was getting dark.
