Chapter 2- A Unwelcome Guest

Chapter 2 - A Unwelcome Guest

He looked at me and smiled at me as if nothing was wrong. He got up and started walking over to me. The hole that was in my chest ripped open and I don't know what I should do. If  I scream Charlie will come in and check on me, and fighting him would be useless since  I would be more likely the one getting hurt.

"Edward." I started backing away and pain spread across his face. He stopped where he was. Good because I don't know if I could keep myself from punching him if he were any closer.

"Bella, love. It's OK. I am not going to hurt you, your fine. It's only me." He said in his velvet soft voice. He  had his hands out as if I was going to run into them with joy.

"You, you le- left me." I was crying now. Great.

"Bella, it was right at the time. I thought you would forget about me and be safe, but Alice saw Victoria coming back to kill you so we all decided to come back to protect you from her. You are fine. We are here so everything is OK." He started walking towards me and I let him.

He thought I was forgiving him. Oh, no. I was going to hit him. Even though I may get hurt, he will get the message that I am never going to love him. He was a traitor.

He was right in front of me and I pulled my arm back and let it snap forward. Then I heard a crunch. "OWW!!  You broke my hand. God, I hope Jake will snap your neck you stupid bloodsucker!"

"Bella, let me take care of you. I heard a crunch." He grabbedmy hand very gingerly, but when I started thrashing my other hand against him lightly, he let go, but still hovered closely to me.

Owww. I tried to bend it, but couldn't. Defiantly broken. I may be no doctor, but I know when I get a broken bone. I reached for my phone and started to dial Jacob' number for him to pick me up when Charlie walked in and saw me and Edward standing in the middle of my room.

I didn't know what was about to happen, but I knew it wasn't going to be good. I was surprised Edward didn't leave my room before Charlie walked in. Charlie didn't know Edward was here. I watched as Charlie's face turned red, then blue, then purple. He was defiantly mad.

"EDWARD CULLEN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE IN BELLA'S ROOM?!!?" He was looking at him with the most ferocious expression I ever saw on him. I was so glad I wasn't Edward even though Charlie couldn't hurt him.

"I came to tell Bella how much I love her and that I want your daughter back sir. I have missed her terribly these past few years and I wanted to come and get her forgiveness." He said in his velvet and angelic voice. I knew no matter how angelic he sounded, Charlie would still be furious.

"Oh, so you decided to come and do that at 1 o clock in the morning. You figured that would be convenient. Do you understand what I could do to you for breaking into my house without permission? Do you not remember I am a cop? Do you know the consequences? Why would you even think for a minute that coming here now was a good idea?" Yeah, definatly furious.

He was only getting started when I interrupted. "Dad, let me handle this."I turned to Edward. 

"Edward. Get out of my room and this house now and don't you ever come back. You left me here with a broken heart, and it has finally healed and I am going to be getting married. Yeah, thats right. I no longer belong to you. 'Your' Bella is gone and will never come back. I love Jacob and he proposed to me tonight fo rmy birthday. I love him and not you so don't even think about me loving you because that will never happen so you need to move on and get a life." I could see the pain in his eyes and face as he took in my speech. He turned to the window and jumped.

With that he was gone. Carlie ran to my window thinking that he got hurt, but I didn't move. I will never love him and am glad he is gone. "Bella, We need to find him. He could be seriously hurt."

"No, dad, he is fine. He did that before and I'm sure he still does it all the time. Don't waste worry on him and go back to bed." I said as I grabbed my phone to call Jake.

"ALright Bells, but I don't want to see yo u with him ever again is that understood?" He said as he headed to the door.

"Yeah dad I won't, don't worry." I told him as he left my room. I started dialing Jake's number. It rang a couple of times before he picked up.

 "Bella, Honey. What are you still doing up? It's 2am" He said tiredly. Now I feel really bad for waking him up.

"Well.. I kinda need you to come and take me to the emergency room. I think I broke my hand, badly." I said sorry that I bothered him this late.

"What, Honey what happened? Are you alright?" He said worriedly as I heard him walking outside.

"Umm...Well.... I...Umm..Kinda..." Took a deep breath. "Punched Edward Cullen in the face, and I heard a crunch." Please don't be mad, Please don't be mad.

"WHAT!?! What was he doing with you and what happened." He said angrily.

"Well I got back and got ready for bed, and when I opened my bedroom door he was sitting on my bed and asked for me to take him back and i told him that I didn't love him and he came closer to comfort me and I let him and he thought I was forgiving him and then I hit him and I yelled and Charlie came in and kicked him out and then I called you ant thats all. Can you please hurry because my hand is really hurting." I said quickly.

"Ohh, Honey. Sure I'll be there in a minute. Oh, do you want me to drive or run?" He asked.

"Drive please, I won't be able to hold on."  

"Good point. OK I'll see you in a minute, Wait outside for me." He said and I heard a car door slam.

"Ok Jake thnks. Oh, and sorry for waking you up." I said as I tiptoed downstairs and walked out the door.

"Don't worry about it, anything for you." He said and I believed him.

"Alright see you outside. Bye"

I hung up and walked outside and he was already pulling up and getting out of the car. He walked over to me and said "Come on, Let me take care of my girl." He picked me up in his strong warm arms, ran to the car, put me in and buckled me up. He started the engine, and next thing I knew we were racing down the street. With that we were at the hospital.
