"Wherever you are."

His statement resonated within her. Did he mean that? Was he really ready to pack and move just to be with her?! Even he can't be that ridiculous, she laughed.

"What's so funny?" He questioned.

"You," she replied.

"Elaborate," he requested.

"Drop everything and come with me? Really?" She raised a sarcastic brow and he shrugged in response. "It's funny you think I'd let you," she shook her head in amusement. "I can't let you hate me like that. It's too cruel."

"In case you couldn't tell, I'm not exactly happy here without you either. And I'm going to take the liberty of saying neither are you," he gave her a knowing look.

She looked at him with sad eyes and a wistful smile and just...shrugged. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and snuggled back against his chest.

"I love you," he announced.

"I know," she said smugly.

He pulled back to look at her and gave her a mock hurt look. She giggled.

"Someone is getting a little cocky," he smirked crookedly in amusement.

"You never gave me a reason to think otherwise," she replied matter-of-factly.

He smiled at that.

"And for the record, I love you too," she said with a dismissive wave of her hand.

"Arrey! If I didn't know better, I'd think you don't mean it," he clutched his heart.

"But you do know better," she looked at him and smiled what looked to him like a seductive smile partly because of her hooded drunken eyes and partly because she was trying to seduce him.

He stared at her. His eyes roaming over her face. God he missed her like hell. She has always been the most beautiful creature in existence, but right now, in this moment, she looked a lot more beautiful than any time he'd ever seen her before.

Her lips parted taking in a breath when he attacked her. It only took her intoxicated brain a moment to register what was happening before she threw her arms around his neck pulling him closer. She buried her fingers in his thick soft locks reveling in their luscious feel which was one of her favorite things about him. She parted her lips to deepen the kiss but he pushed her away and got to his feet. She looked up at him from where she was on the ground with hazy unfocused eyes still trying to catch her breath.

"I'm sorry," he looked more pained than apologetic which confused her. He ran both hands across his hair, scratched his face, and let out a frustrated groan. "A kiss is not enough," he exclaimed. "I want more than that. I need more than that," he looked at her intently for a long moment, "my body and all of me is craving you."

Her throat closed with unshed tears. He always knew exactly what to say to change her mind no matter how adamant she might've been. She stretched out her arms for him to pull her up and he instinctively obeyed. She came up to her feet and stood toe to toe facing him. "Take your fill," she whispered.

He inhaled sharply, "I rather die before I take advantage of you or take more than you want to give."

She closed her eyes and breathed him in feeling his lips lightly touching her forehead. "Your place," she whispered, "let's go to your place."
