The next morning, I woke up with Trey's arms around my waist. My back was pressed up against his chest and I could feel the steady rise and fall of it as he breathed softly behind me.

I blinked.

I had slept with Trey.

After waiting more than a year, we had finally done it. We had taken our relationship to a whole other level. We were now bound more tightly together than we ever were before. And I was all right with that.

I turned so that I was facing him. His eyes were closed and I could see how long his eyelashes were. I smiled at how messy and unruly his hair was. It stuck up in all different directions. His skin, like mine, was pale, but it suited him because of his dark hair. His nose sloped perfectly and his lips were a light pink. I reached out and smoothed his hair back a bit. When I did, he opened his eyes.

He blinked a few times, obviously disoriented. He was probably registering what had happened the night before and how I had gotten in his bed with him. When realization struck, his eyes widened slightly. I smiled at him, silently reassuring him that what had happened was what I wanted, too. He had nothing to be afraid of. His face relaxed and he smiled back at me.

"Good morning," he whispered, reaching out and brushing my own unruly hair down.

"Morning," I replied.

"How'd you sleep?" he asked.

"Better than ever before," I answered.

He smiled and leaned forward, planting a soft, gentle kiss on my lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he pulled me closer to him from my waist, deepening the kiss. I felt the electricity heighten around us, setting the fibers in my body on al electrical fritz. We pulled away and leaned our foreheads against one another.

"I didn't dream any of that, did I?" Trey asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked back.

"How is it possible to feel this perfect?" he questioned.

"Trey..." I said softly, kissing his nose.

"I love you, Caley," he whispered.

"I love you, too," I replied. He smiled at me and kissed my forehead.

"We should probably get ready," he said, propping himself up on his elbow.

"Or we could just hang out here for the day," I suggested. He chuckled.

"I don't think Abbey and Lance would appreciate that very much," he said.

"Oh, please. I bet they want to do the same thing," I said. He laughed again and leaned in to kiss me. When he pulled back, his eyes glittered brightly.

"You know, I've never felt this strongly about anyone before," he told me after a few moments.

"How lucky of me," I said with a smile.

"I didn't hurt you last night, did I?" he questioned. I shook my head.

"No, it was perfect. Like how I wanted it to be," I answered. We gazed at each other for a while longer before I spoke again. "I'm glad you were my first," I said, my voice quiet. He smiled a little sadly.

"I wish I could say the same to you," he replied. "But for what it's worth, you were the first I've done it with that felt right," he added.

"I guess that's all that matters," I said. He smiled at me and I returned it.

"So how am I walking out of this room? I can't walk out in my dress. That will be too obvious," I said.

"You could walk out naked," he suggested. I reached up and pulled the pillow from underneath my head and then hit him in the face with it. He laughed.

"Kidding!" he said. "You could wear something of mine," he said.

"And that won't be obvious?" I asked.

"Well, what do you suggest we do?" he asked.

"You change and get me something from my room," I said, laying on my back and stretching. He was silent. I looked at him and he was giving me the look.

"Stop being lazy and get up," he said. I pouted.

"Not going to work," he said. I kept the pout on my face, but he wouldn't break. Then I sighed.

"Ugh! Fine!" I said, sitting up. I pulled the sheets around me as Trey reached down to pull his boxers on. I felt my cheeks flush with color and looked away, although I didn't know why. Trey got up and went to his dresser. He pulled out a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and threw them at me.

"There you go," he said.

"Thanks for handing them over so nicely," I said sarcastically. He leaned over me, kissing my lips. He pulled away and smirked.

"You're welcome," he answered. I rolled my eyes as he retreated into his bathroom. I pulled on the clothes he had given me and tied my hair up in a ponytail to tame it. I called out to him that I'd see him at breakfast. Then I gathered my dress in my arms and picked my shoes up and I left.

"Oh my God, SPILL," Abbey said when I walked into my room. Lance wasn't in there. I guess he had left already.

"Abbey, really? Stop making a big deal out of nothing," I said.

"Nothing? Are you kidding me? You went from a white thornless rose to a spiny red one," she said.

"What?" I asked, completely confused as I deposited my things on my bed and pulled open my closet to take some clothes out.

"How was it?" she asked, ignoring me.

"I really don't want to talk about this," I said.

"Why are you acting so shy?" she asked.

"Pardon me for not wanting to discuss my sex life," I said sarcastically. She pouted.

"I told you," she said.

"Actually, you didn't. I found out from Lance," I replied, turning and giving her a look. She bit her lip and looked away.

"Ok, fine. Don't tell me," she said.

"Why do you want to know?" I asked. She shrugged.

"We're girls. We share everything with each other," she replied.

"Well, this is not one of those things I'm comfortable with sharing," I said.

"Fine," she sighed, looking downcast. I rolled my eyes at her, feeling stupid for feeling guilty all of a sudden. Turning back towards my closet, I spoke again.

"He told me he loves me," I said.

"What?!" she exclaimed, making me jump. I glared at her. "And what did you say?" she asked.

"I told him I loved him, too," I said. She gasped and put her hand over her mouth.

"Are you sure?" she asked. I nodded.

"I think I knew it for a while now. I was just afraid to admit it," I said.

"Why?" she asked. I shrugged.

"I guess I have trust issues, given my past and all," I answered. She nodded.

"Well, I'm glad you guys finally admitted it," she said. I smiled at her.

"Me, too," I said.

A/N: SHORT CHAPTER. I know. Sorry. The other one was 8 pages. Give me a break. I'm going to update soon, though, with the next chapter. This was just filler because I don't want to have too much to happen right after.

Please vote anyway.
