35 - protective boyfriend

Dean was on his way to the park to meet up with his boyfriend, castiel.

When he spotted the teen sitting in front of a tree with a beehive hanging above him.

Dean felt his stomach drop.

Despite the fact that he recently found out that Cas is severally allergic to bee stings, Cas didn't seem to mind as he switched between watching the flying insects and scribbling things in his notebook.

"Cas!" Dean yelled, as he ran over "what are you doing?! get away from there!"

"Dean, it's fine. it's unlikely for a bee to sting you unless it feels threatened"

"Yeah, well, i don't trust the buzzing bastards"

"But Dean , you know i love observing bees! i don't wanna stop"

"Right, because the thought of you dying if one of them stings you is very appealing"

"Your overreacting"

"Am not, i just don't wanna see you in any kind of pain"

Cas closed his notebook, setting it next to him, smiling softly up at Dean.

"You worry about me to much"

"well... i love you" he whispered.

"What was that, winchester?"
Cas asked teasingly.

"You heard me"

"I don't think i did"

Dean rolled his eyes, "i said, because i love you"

Cas gave Dean a toothy smile, "i love you, too, but you don't have to worry about me all the time"

"I'm supposed to worry about you and take care of you, if anything ever happened to yo-"

Cas silenced him by gently pressing their lips together. when they pulled away, Cas wrapped his arms around Dean's waist while placing his head on his chest.

"I'm not going to get hurt"
Cas assured Dean "not with you around"

"Damn right!" Dean replied "c'mon let's get out of here"

"Okay, can we go somewhere with pancakes and honey?"

"Cas, you can't ea-"

"I'm not allergic to honey, Dean"

"Oh.. right" Dean said, sliding their hands into each others. "i'm not trying to smother you!" he said quickly. "just... protecting you"

"I know, Dean" Cas said, slightly swinging their hands back and forth while resting his head on his boyfriends shoulder. "i know"
