She just kept yelling, throwing words at me like a pitcher at a baseball game. I tried my best to block the mean remarks out, but it didn't make a difference. If only there was a way to shut her up.
My detention teacher stood in front of me, her hands on her hips, her face looking like shit in a toilet bowl, ugh! I couldn't stand to look at her. Her voice was much worse, like coconut on a grater. I wish I could die right here, in this room. At least I wouldn't have to hear her horrifying voice anymore.
My head was aching me very badly. I needed something to help me get rid of the pain, and this huge pile of garbage, known as Miss Perris, wasn't helping my cause.
The place finally went silent. I looked up to see Miss Perris pointing to a combination at the front of the class, hinting that I take a seat. She must have gotten everything off her chest. The mean words didn't stick, but my headache was surely taking it's toll on me.
I sat in the combination, dropping my bag to the floor, thanking the Lord it was finally off my back. It felt like it was filled with rocks, and I couldn't deal with that kind of thing under my circumstances.
Something wet hit me behind the neck and I flinched as it slowly moved down my back. I wiped the spot, and then looked at my hand. Some asshole from the back of the class shot a spit ball at me. I turned around and noticed Calvin Thomas in the last combination at the back of the class smirking at me. I gave him a nasty look that meant 'stop'. He let out a slightly audible laughter.
Calvin was the thirteen-year-old bully, always running behind younger kids for their lunch money. Lunch money? How cheap. If I were a bully, I'd go for more, but I'm not. I'm broke. I might as well just take my pennies as food, because I can't even afford to buy lunch.
Anyway, enough about me. Calvin was just a meanie, and I honestly don't like when he especially picks on me. Thinking about this makes my head hurt even more.
I'm twelve-year-old Ronnie Knicks, and this is my first time in detention.
