I stood up immediately and was about to rush over to Miss Perris' desk when she looked up and spoke - well, more like yelled.
"If you only step within 10 feet of my desk, I will break you face with this magazine," she said, waving what was revealed to be a PLAYBOY magazine. After noticing me staring at the book, she quickly pulled it back down underneath her desk. "Never mind. What do you want?"
"Washroom!" I shouted out, pretending I really needed to go.
She nodded her head in the direction of the door, and I dashed for it. When i was about to open the door, her voice called from behind me, and I looked back. "You and that Calvin better not be doing any funny business. I know how boys like you experiment at this age."
Why the hell would she think that? And why the hell would I even do that?
I don't have a problem with the gay kids in my school, not that I know any, but...I'm not gay! Unless...Calvin's gay...
Whatever, I thought, not wanting to waste anymore time, and rushed out of the class.
I ran up the hall and made a right turn, then ran straight down that hall until I reached the door which had the girls' washroom symbol on it.
I slightly pushed open the door and peeked inside, but I didn't see anyone. I looked around to make sure no one was watching me. Safe enough to go in.
I quickly opened the door fully, entered, and closed it, bracing my back against the door and closing my eyes. What the fuck am I doing? I'm in the girls' washroom!
I heard a latch click, and I opened my eyes and saw one of the doors, farthest to my right, starting to open. I recognized the boots of the girl now emerging from one of the stalls. I panicked and, in a flash, ran into the empty stall in front of me.
"Hello?" I heard Anastasia's voice call as she washed her hands. I didn't answer. "Is someone in here? Courtney, if that's you, I promise...I'll kick your ass."
The pipe turned off, and I still didn't answer. A shadow began to loom at the front of the stall I'm trapped in. Oh great! If Anastasia catches me, she's gonna think I'm a snooper!
