I hop out of the truck and run to ethan's front door.
I pounded on it.
"Ethan open up!" I yell.
That's when i hear it.
I hear shannon scream.
I threw my weight on to my shoulder and burst through the door.
"SHANNON" i yell.
Then i see her run.
Ethan runs after her.

She ran and i grabbed her.
"NO" she screams.
"Shannon its me" i hiss.
Once she hears my voice she wraps her arms around me.
"Stay away from her" ethan snarls.

Ethan has claw marks all over his arms.
Shannon's fingernails had blood on them.
"Shannon what happened" i ask.
"Don't tell him shannon" ethan ordered.
I look down and notice shannon's shirt was pulled up a little.

She clutched my shirt.
"Shannon please tell me what happened" i ask.
"SHANNON!" Ethan hissed.
She shook her head violently.
"He.. he-" was all she got out before ethan grabbed her and pulled her away.
I don't know why i did it but i did.
Why?
I lunge at ethan.
My fist connects with his jaw.
He stumbles back and that gives me enough time to scoop shannon up in my arms and carry who out the door.
She grips my shirt and keeps her head down.

I open the passenger door and help her in.
I put the seat buckle on her and closed the door.
I go to the other side and hop in.
I see ethan come out.
He has a bruise on his jaw.
He yells for shannon.
I step on the gas pedal and we go bakwards.

We drive down the road.
I look over at shannon and she looks like she's about to cry.

Once we get about ten miles away from ethan i stop the truck and walk over to the passengers side.
I open the door and shannon wraps her arms around my neck and sobs.
"Shh it's okay" i murmer.

What am i doing?
What is this girl doing to me?
I used to be cold never caring and now i'm warm and bleh!

"He tried to" she sobbed.
I knew what she was going to say.
He tried to have 'it' with her.
"Your okay he won't touch you" i whispered.

I walked in to the sheriff's station hand in hand with shannon.
Yea sappy whatever.

Lucius walked up with jack.
"What happened?" Lucius asked.
"Suspect. Ethan filch" i said.
"Jacob can i speak with you?" Jack asked.
I nod. 
"Shannon stay with lucius" i whisper and walk after jack.

"What exactly happened?!" Jack hissed when i walked in to his office.
Me and jack were friends if you could call us that.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I know your background. Your phycho brother. I know it all. I know what he did to girls so that's why i'm hesitant with you." He said.
He glared at me.
"I'M NOTHING LIKE HIM!" I yell angrily.

He done it now.
Bring up my brother and you bring up the monster that i hid.
"You act like it. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" jack said.
I glared at him it was like shooting daggers.
" he was a murderer" i snarl.
"Just like you were" he said.

I grab his collar and slam him against the wall.
"I'M NOT A MURDERER!" I yell at him.
"Your acting like it right now" jack spit out.
"You stare at the killer right in the face and blame me. When you could blame him. Or the girls" i spat out.
"The only killer i see is you" he said calmly.

Calm down jacob.
Calm. Down.
I let him go and turn on my heel.
"Where do you think your going?" Jack called.
"I'm finished!" I yell.
"Stay away from my daughter" he said back.
Did he think this was about her?
"I don't control her" i call back.
I slam his office door close and storm out.

"Do it" he hissed.
"I'm not a murderer" i tell him.
I look at my brother.
"You asked what i do at night i told you. I also told you to keep it a secret you didn't. you told the police now they're coming for me." He snarled in my ear.

"This isn't right" i murmer.
I look down at the dead girl's body.
Her eyes stared blankly on nothing.
I had watched my brother kill her.
I was cold and heartless when she cried out for me to save her.
I didn't i watched her.
Like a monster.
I didn't care for a second about her.
I didn't know her.
"I said do it!" My brother held a shovel.
Bury the dead girl. That easy.

To me it wasn't.  to me it meant i was sealing a deal telling him he owned me.

I sat on my bed breathing heavily.
They never caught him.
He ran away before they could.
His name was ezra why did he have to be cruel.
He was the reason why i didn't care for the bodies.
He was the reason why i was cold.

I ran my fingers through my hair.
I stood up and paced my apartment.
Leave jacob he will find you.
Leave before you hurt someone else.

I slammed my fist in to the wall in anger.
He will find me.
His endless pit of anger will find me.
He would come after the things i love.
He would destroy them.
Who was that?

I hit the wall with my other fist.
I leaned and rested my forehead on the wall.
Five towns.
I had to leave five towns because of him.
I had to leave new york because he found me.
