  It hadn't even been twenty four hours.
I got the call from jack.
Someone had been killed.
Someone close to shannon.
I walked in the pouring rain.
I saw a crowd of police standing around a body....

Wait i knew that body...
"Shannon wait don't.." i hear jack's voice say.
I see shannon run up.
I walk up and see cara's body.
Shannon grabs her and cradles her.
"NOOOO" she half screams half sobs.
"No cara please no!" She sobs.

We all stand in the pouring rain.
"Jacob i can't see her color... I CAN'T SEE HER" she sobs.
"Jacob get her out of here" jack whispers.
I nod and walk closer.
Shannon kisses cara's forehead.
She rocks back and forth.

I grab shannon's arm and pulled her away from cara.
When i looked at cara i saw nothing.
Her cold blue eyes stared blankly.
"She struggled" jack said softly.
"LET ME GO" shannon screams.
I wrapped my arms around her making sure she couldn't eacape.
"cara.." she sobs.
She leans her head back on to my shoulder and sobs.

"No" she sobs.
I pull off my jacket and put it around her.
"You can't do anything for her anymore" i whisper in to her ear.
" NO cara please i can't live without you" she sobs.
I feel jack put his hand on my shoulder.
"Take her back to the cabin." He whispers.
I nod and pick shannon up.
She grips my shirt then entire way.
She sobs the entire way.

"Shannon please." Jack pleaded with shannon.
Two days.
Shannon didn't eat.
She didn't sleep.
She didn't speak.
She was scaring me.
If she kept this up she would kill herself.
That's probably what she wanted.

She sat on the couch.
Jack finally stood up and walked over to me.
"I knew if cara did pass away i knew it would be bad but not this bad" he whispers.
"She misses her. I would too if someone i cared for passed away" i said softly.

"She won't even speak with me jacob! Have you tried to talk with her?" He asks.
I shake my head no.
I watched over her most of the time i was with her.
She cried almost every minute.
She never slept.
Jack walked out and i walked over to shannon.

"Shannon do you think cara would want you to cry over her death?" I ask bluntly.
She didn't answer me.
She didn't acknowledge me.
"She would want you to fight for her live for her." I whisper.

I missed cara.
I missed her alot.
I felt tears sting my eyes.
"She would want you to fight for her. Live for her" jacobs whispers.
I felt hungry.
I felt thirsty and tired.
I open my mouth to speak.
He was now the only one i could see in the darkness.

Would he die too?
Would i be completly alone.
cara why?

"I miss her" i whisper.
My voice was hoarse from not speaking.
I felt jacob's hand touch my cheek.
"She would want you to live. For her" he whispers.
"I don't want to be here without her" i say softly.

"She loves you. Where ever she is she loves you" jacob murmers.
"I want her here though" i said.
Tears flooded and spilled over.
I felt jacob wrap his arms around me.
I soaked his shoulder with tears.

"She loves you shannon" jacob whispers.
"Will you leave me. Will you have no color too?" I ask softly.
He was hesitant before answering.
"I wont leave you shannon" he murmers.

I lift my head from his shoulder and i felt his chest.
I pull my hands up till they touch his cheek's.
"He'll kill you jacob" i whisper.
"I don't care" he says back.
"You wouldn't care to die...?" I ask.

"Not if it meant saving you." He answers.
I felt my thumbs touch his lips and i felt him smile.
"He'll come for me" i say softly.
"Don't worry. He wont hurt you" jacob reassures.
I feel tears roll down my cheeks as i thought of cara.
She used to say that.

Cara why did you leave me?

(Jacob)

I walk in to the office and i see jack walk to me.
"She fought. She tried to escape." Jack tells me.
"She was going to see shannon. Probably to check up on her." I answer.
"The suspect is after shannon?" Jack asks with horror.
"Where's shannon" he adds.
"Back at her cabin, i'll check up on her later" i tell him.

"Please watch her, keep an eye out for her" he replies.
