Barbara Gordon's Pov

Bruce threw his grapple up in the air and threw the broken class. It caught onto a pole outside.
Bruce grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. I held onto him as we went up into the air and onto the roof. He climbed up and helped me up onto the roof.

"Thank you," he said, "I probably went have been dead by now if it wasn't for you."

"Don't worry," I replied, "I can save you any time."

"I think this is the only time," he said.

"You never know," I said with a shrug. "So what next?"

"We have to find Dick," he replied, "I have no idea where he could be. He followed the other green line but the path is gone now....the rain have washed it away. It's raining pretty hard right now...it's kind of hard to see."

I nodded.

"And we need to find the Joker and his gang," he added, "god knows where they could be."

"Is that them?" I asked pointing at the sky.

Flying in the sky was a bright green helicopter with a purple smiley face on it, the eyes on the smiley face were x's.

"Yes," Bruce replied, "that is them. Come, we need to go back to the bat cave."

"What is a bat cave?" I asked.

"It'll make sense once you see it," he replied.

We glided off of the roof and ran a couple of blocks and finally came upon the bat mobile. We sped down the road and into the woods. Then we came upon Bruce's house. The lake in front of his house literally opened up and he jumped the mobile into the opening and sped through a passageway. He stopped the car once we came into a large room.

We stepped out of the car and walked up a couple of steps and then came upon a large screen with smaller screens beside it with a keyboard under it. Bruce ripped off his mask, his hair falling in different places. Sweat trickled down his face as he breathed heavily and typed on the keyboard. I pulled my mask off and watched him intently, trying to figure out what he was doing.

He then logged into something and a bunch of security footages popped up on the screen. They were set up all over Gotham. Bruce turned his looking at all of them.

"There," he said pointing at one of the monitors, "there's the helicopter. And look there's Dick."

"Where is he?" I asked.

"It looks like he's by the coffee shop," Bruce replied, "I think he's looking for us."

Bruce tapped on one of the monitors and brought up a keypad. He typed the word, Robin. Then it made the sound like when you call someone on the phone.

"Hello?" Bruce asked.

"Bruce?" Said a voice on the other line. It was Dick.

"I need you to go to the police station," Bruce said. "Get into the police station and find Jim Gordon's office. There will be a key in the second drawer on the right side of his desk. Find the key and go downstairs and there will be a door that I locked. Unlock the door with the key and walk through the hall. Turn left, then right twice, and then left three times. You will come upon a door. Unlock the door with the same key. Once you get inside there should be a giant safe. On the safe, type in the numbers 9172365. Open it up and there should be a contraption in there, it's a time machine. Take the time machine and go back into Jim Gordon's office. Wait for us."

"Us?" Dick asked.

"Yeah," Bruce replied, "Barbara decided to help."

"Good," Dick said.

"Now go," Bruce said.

"Okay," Dick replied.

"Good luck," Bruce said.

"You too."

We put our mask back on.

"Alright," Bruce said, "I'm going to take the batpod and distract them. You take the mobile and take it to the police station."

"What if they see me?" I asked, "What if they try to kill me?"

"I won't let that happen," he replied, "trust me."

Those two words, "trust me" brought back terrible memories. Suddenly, a flashback played through my mind........

I ran through the woods, the rain pouring down on me as thundered rumbled.

"Barbara wait!" He said, he was close.

I ran faster, running out of breath. Tears started to stream down my face. Suddenly, I tripped and fell into the mud. I stood up and faced him.

"Barbara you can't leave," he said.

"Smallville sucks," I replied, "I'm being honest. I can't believe you still live here."

"You don't know how much it will hurt me if you leave," he said, "Barbara I love you."

Tears fell from my cheeks, "I love you too but...I can't stay here forever. And you're changing...a lot. You're scaring me."

"I can explain," he said, "but you'd think I'm crazy. You just have to trust me."

"I think that's already happened," I replied.

He kissed me.

Suddenly the loud rumble of thunder caused me to break away from the kiss. Lightning struck right on the gigantic tree that stood above us. A loud crack echoed throughout the sky and the tree started to fall. Right before it was going to hit us, I closed my eyes and prayed. Just when it was supposed to fall on us, it didn't. I opened my eyes slowly and looked at him. He was holding the tree up. That was impossible.

Trust him, he said. How could I trust him when he scared me. More tears continued to fall as I watched in amazement.

"Clark?" I asked and started to sob.

I came back to reality and looked Bruce in the eyes.

"I trust you."
