Barbara Gordon's Pov

The bat had left a couple of minutes ago. He had stood on the ledge and glided off. I stood alone on the rooftop as rain started to fall from the sky. Suddenly a loud crack of thunder echoed throughout the sky and lightning flashed. The rain fell down harder and harder, drenching me. I shivered through the rain as I walked towards the door that led into the building.

I gripped the door knot and started to turn it but it wouldn't move. I started to panic and started moving the doorknob forcefully. Me being dumb, I pounded on the door screaming for help. While I was pounding on the door, someone pounded on the door from the other side. I stopped and everything was silent. I gave the door a big pound and then a big pound came back. I let go of the doorknob and backed away slowly. I up all the way to the end of the roof. From a distance I could see the doorknob move and then the door opened. I gasped. A man wearing all green with a giant black question mark on his chest and a black eye mask stepped out of the door. It was the Riddler.

"Well aren't you just riddled?" He asked.

He started walking towards me.

"I am very riddled," he said shaking his head and laughing. "To think, I actually thought you were going to stop my plan. Oh Barbara honey...I was wrong. You are not going to get in the way of my plan."

My heart started pounding and I started sweating though I couldn't have been more than fifty degrees outside and cold rain was pouring down on me.

"I'll make sure of that," he said pulling out of knife, coming closer and closer to me.

I stood on the ledge. I looked down and saw a piece of concrete sticking out about five feet down. If I aimed right I would land on it. I jumped from the ledge. I landed on the other ledge, hit my head very hard, and then rolled off. I get very dizzy. I caught myself by me hanging with my two hands holding on. I pulled myself up onto the ledge. I then noticed a space that I could fit in to hid. I crawled inside of it. Then the dizziness inside my head took over. I tried to stay away but my eyes felt heavy as everything started to go dark.
