~At the Dinner Table~

Mom: Fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and collard greens.

All expect mom: YASSSS LAWDDDD.

Mom: this generation. (sets food on the table)

All expect mom: (starts stacking their plates up with food)

Mom: Wait y'all wait. I need food too.

Ni'Ri: oops, sorry mommy.

Mom: yea whatever. (gets food) Atleast I don't have to pick up left overs.

All except mom: (starts eating)

Mom: Aye aye aye AYE. YALL DIDNT EVEN SAY GRACE.

Ka'shaun: sorry mom,but you cook so amazingly we can't wait to eat your wonderful food.

Kay: (mouth full of food) yea what he said.

Aza: mwommy said dwont talk with your mwouth full.

"Mommy said don't eat with your mouth full"

Kay: (swallows hard) sorry.

Mom: mmhmm. Now say grace.

All: (says grace) AMEN. (starts eating like maniacs)

Kay: Pass the chicken.

Aza: NO I WANT THE CHICKEN.

Kay: BUT I LOVE CHICKEN.

Aza: AND I LOVE MY HOUSE, YOU KNOW THE ONE YOU BOUT TO GET OUT OF. (Grabs chicken and sticks tongue out at Kay)

Kay: well damn I wonder who she get that from. (looks at Ni'Ri)

Ni'ri: (rolls eyes)

Ja'Kai: Kay my bae want to feed each other. Like a romantic couple.

Kay: boy I used to feed you,change you,and rock you to sleep when you were a baby. So no.

Ja'Kai: But I'm a new man.

Kay: How you gon be a new man when your not even a man.

Ja'kai: you don't know that.......yet.

Kay: (stank face)

Ka'shaun: Kai my man.

Kay: SHUTUP cuz this is your fault.

Dad: (walks in) So y'all eating without me.

Ni'Ri & Aza: DADDY. (jumps on dad)

Dad: hey my babies. (hugs back and kisses their foreheads. Little man. (dabs Ja'kai)

Ja'kai: Sup daddy-o.

Ka'shaun: Hello sir. (Gets up and sticks hand out for a handshake)

Dad: Ka'shaun. (Rejects handshake)

Ka'shaun:.......... (Puts hand down and sits)

Dad: No comment huh?

Ka'Shaun: I don't know what to say sir.

Dad: well if your going to date my daughter you better find something to say to me. Because if you ask me to allow you to marry my daughter and I barely talk to you the answer is no.

Ka'shaun: y-yes sir.

Dad: and your stuttering. you just don't want to win against me. don't stutter boy it makes you sound weak.

Ka'shaun: yes sir.

Ni'ri: dad stop.

Dad: ok. (sits by his wife a.k.a Ni'Ri's mom)

Hey baby. (pecks cheek)

Mom: hey hun.

Ka'shaun: sir and mom, i mean miss, I would like to thank you for creating my beautiful girlfriend. Ni'Ri. (Pecks Ni'ri's cheek and hold her hands)

Ni'ri: (blushes)

Mom: aw Hun thank you and you're welcome. And you can call me mom.

Dad: that's more like it son and you're welcome. You're not that bad after all. Sunday the saints are playing want to watch the game with me.

Ka'shaun: Yes sir I would.

Dad: good, now pass me the greens.
