My Father is Who?!?

(Chp3) TIME AND SPACE?!?!?!

I followed mum into the living area, and I sat down on our comfy couch.

"Alright" she said "Are you sure you are ready for this?"

"Yes mum, I've been ready for a couple of years"

"Fine, but don't interrupt me, I'll answer your questions when I'm done!" She seemed upset or maybe scared, I couldn't tell.

"I should start off by telling you my name, I realized I've never told you." My mom having a name, I guess I never thought of her as anything besides "mum".

"My name is Melody Pond, or as all my friends and your father call me, Professor River Song." My mum is a professor, why has she never told me, that's so cool.

"Your father was best friends with my parents, Amy and Rory Pond, your grandparents. They were his companions for a while before they" she took a long pause there, and looked pained "left. But while they were still traveling with him, Amy became pregnant with me after having had a fun wedding night. She was taken by a lady called Madame Kovarian, and replaced her with a ganger of Amy. She gave birth on that woman's ship, and they took me and gave a ganger of me to Amy. They never got me back, but unknown to them, I, River song, was with them the whole time. When I revealed myself to them as their daughter, they were surprised but happy. I think your father was even more surprised." She took a long break and then continued on.

"Your father's name is The Doctor, only I know his true name, but you won't get that out of me. He is an amazing man, and he would have loved you dearly, but there is something you should know about him before I continue, he was not human, he was an alien, specifically a Time Lord, and as I was conceived on his space ship, so I too have Time Lord DNA, so that makes you a full Time Lord, and are in no way human."

Wait I'm not human, this is like a big deal, I'm an alien, holy crap, this is so cool, I can't wait to hopefully one day meet this man, and so space traveling as well, well if mum lets me.

"I left before he found out I was pregnant, he has no idea you exist, and I'm so sorry, but I wanted you to live a normal life, but now you're old enough, and I figured you deserved to know. One other thing about Time Lords, they can regenerate when they get too close to death, and since you are a full Time Lord, you have an infinite amount of regenerations, while your father and I are only half Time Lords, we have a limit, and I have none left, as I gave them all to your father."

"I believe that is all, unless you have any questions, you seem to be taking this well, and I hope you're not too angry with me for not telling you."

"It's ok mum, I understand, and yes I do have a few questions."

"Ok go ahead, ask away."

"Well first what is a 'ganger'?" She said that word multiple times and I didn't quite understand what it meant.

"Oh that is easy, a ganger is like a doppelganger, looks exactly like you and even has the same memories."

"That is so scary, why would that lady put you guys through all that!"

"Well she needed me to grow up an kill the Doctor, which I did and didn't do at the same, time, overall he is still alive and I was in jail for a murder I didn't commit." So that was why she was in jail, for killing a man, that wasn't dead.

"Ok, next I wanted to know what this spaceship was that you said he travelled around in?"

"Well, it is called the TARDIS, or Time-And-Relative-Dimensions-In-Space. He can travel through all of time and all of space and see everything there is to see, the TARDIS' were a special ship of the Time Lords, and were built on their home planet of Gallifrey."

Wait, wait, wait, can I have my own TARDIS, since I'm a Time Lord, can I go to Gallifrey and get one!!" I am so excited I really hope she says yes!!

"I'm afraid sweetie, that Gallifrey does not exist anymore, but you can go to an asteroid that lies in a rift right outside the universe. On that planet are many broken TARDIS' that you can take pieces from a build your own, I can give you a manual, but it is not the safest place and I'm going to ask if I can come with you."

"Of course you could come mum, you could help me build and we could get out of there much faster, and it'll be fun, and what does his ship look like?"

"Oh, how could I forget, his TARDIS looks like a 1960's police call box."

"Shut up1 I saw one of those outside today in an alley next to our house, on my way back from my conversation with Clara, whom I'm assuming is his current companion?"

"Yep, you're correct, but that's strange he would be so close, and any final questions?"

"Yes, if you don't mind be asking what happened to my grandparents, Amy and Rory, I saw the look you had on your face when you said they "'left'."

"Well, we had a run-in with the Weeping Angels, which are a very fearful and deadly group of angels, that look like statues, and they sent Amy and Rory back in time, and we couldn't go back and save them, and they ultimately died..."

"Mum, I'm so sorry, I didn't know...." I got up and hugged as I felt so bad for her about losing her parents. We sat there hugging for about twenty minutes, before I got up and went to bed, that night all I could think about was that blue TARDIS, and my father traveling throughout all of time and space.
