Chapter Fifteen|Crossing the River

  Lily walked beside Edmund in silence as the group followed Peter who even though he claimed to have a map of Narnia in his head it was clear to the fifteen year old blonde that they where lost.
  "You okay?" Ed asked her. "Your being oddly silent."
  "Yeah I'm fine Ed" she told him. "I'm just trying to keep an smartass remarks I have from slipping out."
  Edmund nodded, not sure he fully believed her. He had a good reason to because she was lying to him after all. A few weeks back she got severely injured on an assessment Ra's Al Ghul gave and she would have died had he not used the Lazarus Pit to save her. But sadly the water of the Lazarus Pit that wasn't in her vial had a terrible after effect if you didn't kill who killed you. And seeing as Sara killed Lily's murder, she was left with a bloodlust to kill.
  "Now how do we get across" Susan's voiced pulled Lily from her trans.
  "The only away from here is to jump" Tumpkin told them.
  "Is their any other way" Allison asked.
   "A little ways down there's a place we can swim across" Tumpkin told her.
  "Better that then walking" Lily said walking way from the cliff's edge.
  "Aslan" Lucy said out of nowhere causing Lily to fly around. "He was right there, he wanted us to follow him"
  "Lu, if he was there why didn't I see him" Peter asked.
   "Maybe you weren't looking" Lucy said.
   "Or maybe it was just some random mountain lion" Lily told her. "I'd bet there's hundreds of them out there just like that bear."
  "I think I'd know Aslan when I see him" Lucy said.
  "Well I'm not jumping off that cliff after no lion" Tumpkin stated.
  "You know last time I didn't believe Lucy, I end up looking pretty stupid" Edmund said.
  "I'm sorry Lu, it's not worth the risk" Peter said turning away from her.

  "So where did you see Aslan" Lily asked Lucy once the group of travelers were back at the cliff.
  "Right..." Lucy began as the ground fall out from under her feet.
  "Lucy" her siblings and Lily ran to edge to see her perfectly fine on a path below them.
  "Here" Lucy finished what she was saying.
  Soon they where following the path to get across safely. Lily once again traveled in silence this time beside Allison not wanting to get questioned to much. She could already tell that ignoring her bloodlust was already taking effect on her. She was being to grow weaker even though it was very slowly.
  "Are you sure your going to be okay" Allison questioned in a whisper so no besides Lily heard her. "Your beginning to pale again."
  "I'll be fine" Lily whispered back. "I'm not going to kill anyone well I'm here. I'd rather let the pit's magic wear off before having to kill an innocent in Narnian."
  "Then you better get lucky and come across a bad guy" Allison told her.
