Chapter Twenty-three|The Dawn Treader

  Lily sat the front of the boat drawing one of the Oni in her notebook. It was the Oni that Allison had killed in the battle when they were saving Lydia from Void. She'd known it was that one because of the arrow in it chest.
  "It's beautiful my Queen" Reep said looking at the drawing from over her shoulder from where he stood on the edge of the boat.
  "Thank you Reepicheep" she said turning to another page to begin drawing a new picture.
  It had been a few months since she had lost drawn the tree but she had been drawing events that happened to the pack. Just from looking at her drawings you could tell the who story of what had happened in the past year in Beacon Hills.
  "What's going on?" Lily asked as a commotion from the crew began.
   "It appears we've come across some stragglers" Reep told her. Lily jumped yo her feet to look overt he edge as Caspian and two of the men jumped over broad to help the stragglers.
  Running to the top the steps Lily watched as Lucy, Edmund and a boy were brought aboard the ship. She laughed to herself as the boy passed out on seeing the Minotaur.
  "Are you sure he's related by blood" Caspian asked and both the siblings nodded.
  "Well I feel bad for you then" Lily said sliding down the stair reeling and landing on her feet in front of them.
  "Caspian didn't you call us" Lucy asked.
   "No not this time. " Caspian told them walking to the front of the crew. "Men behold our castaways. Edmund the Just and Lucy the Valiant, High King and Queen of Narnia."

   Caspian lead Lucy, Ed and Lily into the cabin. As the siblings looked around Caspian went s grabbed Lucy dagger and heal cordial to give back to her.
  "Peter's sword" Ed said noticing the sword.
   "Looked after as promised" Caspian said grabbing it. "You could hold it if you wish."
  "No, Peter left it to you" Ed said.
   "I did save this for you though" Caspian told the younger king turning around and grabbing the flashlight from one of the cabinets.
  "Thanks" Edmund told him turning it on.
   "You should tell what's happened since we left" Lily said. Caspian nodded and lead them over to a table that had a map laid out on it.
  "There peace across all of Narnia" Caspian told them.
   "Peace" Ed said.
   "Yes , peace" Caspian said "and in only three years."
   "And have you found yourself a queen in those three years" Lucy asked and Lily made a mental note to take to the thirteen year old later.
   "No" Caspian told her "not one that compares to you sister"
   "Hang if there no wars to fight and no ones in trouble" Ed said "then why are we here."
  "That's a good question" Caspian and Lily said in unison.
   "I've been asking myself the same thing" Caspian said.
   "So where are we sailing to" Ed asked
   "Before I took the throne back from my uncle" Caspian explained "he tried to take down my father friends and closest supporters. The seven lord of Telmar.  They fled to the Lone islands. No ones heard from them since"
   "So you think something's happened to them" Ed said.
   "Well if it has it's my duty to find out" Caspian stated.
   "Well what's east of the lone islands" Lucy asked.
   "Uncharted waters" Lord Drinian told her. "Things you could barely imagine. Tells of sea serpents
   "Sea serpents" Edmund asked not sure he believed it.
    "Alright captain that's enough of your tale tells" Caspian said taking a bit out of an apple.
   "I wouldn't be surprised" Lily said getting a strange look. "What? I've seen some pretty weird things in the past year."
