Famous scientist Dr. Emmet Brown has not only perfected time travel, but has recently discovered the key to traveling to alternate dimensions. Because he was too caught up with his family, he gave the idea to a past version of himself from another timeline. He went to New York following a trail that would lead to an ancient mineral capable of bending the very fabric of reality and splitting it open. The precious mineral was called (or what could be translated) was called "Ipsaflecterium." The mineral was shaped like manufactured diamond. It was a very deep purple color. There were small hints of red, dark green, navy blue, and orange within it. The mineral itself was at least the size of a newborn, but weighed up to at least one hundred fifteen pounds. The name Ipsaflecterium was an ancient Latin word closely translating to "reality bend." He'd been searching New York for years, when he finally found it. In the old ruins of the abandoned restaurant known as Cavern On The Green. It was hidden in the walls.

Within the walls was the precious Ipsaflecterium along with writing in multiple languages. The writing was:

"Inveniet a Zúgòu fuente e daehan klósi thekhnoloyī." Dr. Brown translated it as much to his ability and found: "Find a sufficient source for turn technology."

After a series of calculations of research, Dr. Brown was able to find out what he needed. He needed to go use the large centrifuge at NASA. Apparently the massive spinning effect will trigger the inter dimensional rift to open. He had special clearance with NASA, so he didn't need to explain much. He set the Ipsaflecterium inside the centrifuge, and got back. The other scientists worked a panel and the machine began to spin. Once the large machine got to full power, there was a spark of purple electricity. Bright white flashes glared continuously. The room was shaking, and an ear splitting "Screeeeeech!!!" Sounded, causing everyone to cover their ears. A faint humming sounded. The Ipsaflecterium was shaking uncontrollably. It split into three big segments. The first segment turned green and white and flashed into nothingness. Disappearing with a loud "Pashow!!" Left behind the segment was a small bright white piece the size of a pea. The the second segment turned into a somewhat smokey grey with hints of yellow. It flashed into nothingness also leaving behind a small smokey grey piece the size of a pea. The final, and biggest, segment of the Ipsaflecterium turned to all the colors of the rainbow and then turned completely black. The bright glow surrounding it died and left. A small chunk broke off, still containing the glow around it. It flashed all the colors of the rainbow. It levitated up in the air, stopped, and just launched itself into the protective window Dr. Brown and the scientists were behind. It shattered the glass and landed directly next to Dr. Brown's feet. The big part of the Ipsaflecterium segment that turned black, fell to the floor shattering like glass. Once the chaos was over, Dr. Brown ran up to the small, pea-sized fragments and picked them up. He put them into a small device disguised as a watch on his wrist. The device had five slots, but he only had three fragments. He put the fragments in the device by order they formed. Dr. Brown had already figured, for the most part, what would happen. He knew the fragments were gateways to two other dimensions. But he didn't expect the segments to go to the two different dimensions. The device on his wrist was something he designed. It had a small dial on the side of it. Five small windows fit on the device showing the fragments from inside the device. Dr. Brown knew he had to get the rest of those pieces so they wouldn't fall into the wrong hands, or whatever kind of appendage. Once he got packed for all he needed to be packed for, he prepared to leave. He left a note on the door of his house for Marty McFly, a really close friend of his. He decided to go to the dimension with the smokey grey colored fragment. He turned the dial, and a little black needle turned counterclockwise and landed on the grey fragment. A small light on the side of the device flashed red, then green. A deep hum sounded and a ten foot tall and ten foot wide dark purple portal appeared. Dr. Brown took in a deep breath and stepped into the portal.
