Darkheart's POV

"Wolfstar, we have company." A sleek black tom named Shadowroot spat leading the cats towards the leader's den. Wolfstar poked his head out and snarled. "Clan cats, and a kittypet? What is the meaning of this Leafstar." Wolfstar moved forward. "DUSTPAW!" A frantic she-cat mew sounded from the crowding cats around them.

"Willowmoon?" Dustpaw's head perked up. "Dustpaw?" Hushed whispers went through the Dawn Clan camp. "Move! I want to see my kit!" Willowmoon's voice wailed pushing her way through the cats. "Impossible. Dustpaw was proven missing two moons ago." Wolfstar growled stiffly. "Dustpaw!" Willowmoon whimpered pressing her head lovingly against her kit's head. "Where have you been? I was worried sick!" Willowmoon meowed pressing her nose against his own.

"That is Dustpaw! Dustpaw! Over here!" A red tom yowled from the crowd. "Redpaw!" Dustpaw mewed happily! "Enough! This clearly is a cat the resembles Dustpaw! It's not actually him! It's a kittypet!" Wolfstar snarled viciously. "Wolfstar. It's your own son. Can't you even reconize him?" Willowmoon soothingly mewed.

"Wolfstar. It's truly him. He was kidnapped by twolegs like I was." Darkheart meowed calmly moving forward. "Where's Grayfoot?" Dustpaw looked around curiously. "I'm sorry, Grayfoot passed on when a boulder fell on him." Willowmoon meowed gravily stroking her tail gently on his back. Dustpaw's eyes sank.

"Dustpaw, Willowmoon, in my den now. Thank you Ashclan." Wolfstar meowed curtly. "Shadowroot, show AshClan to the border." Shadowroot nodded as the AshClan cats quietly followed behind, not murmering a word about what just happened.
