Personality: extremely awkward when you first meet her since she is a bit antisocial and doesn't know how to interact with people the best. When you get to know her, though, you find out that she is very motherly yet also very lazy, but kind as well. She is the kind of person that would rather stay in bed listening to music instead of getting up and making breakfast, but ends up getting up since she knows that nobody else is going to do it. She doesn't like doing any other chores besides cooking and laundry.
Background: Kairin was born in Japan but moved to California when she was very young with her mother (her parents got divorced after her third birthday). In California she struggled to make friends since she didn't know much English, and was behind all the other students in her classes. She soon moved to Korea when she turned 8. When she was in middle school she finally made a friend: a transfer student who was also from Japan. They were very close and became best friends, since they didn't really fit in with the rest of their school. Kairin is still best friends with the transfer student (whose name was Hope), and lives with her mother in their small home in Korea with their three stray cats that they adopted. Before she was picked, Kairin was working as a part time waitress in a restaurant to earn money to go to college and get a degree in literature because she loved to write.
