~The Call~

Aphmau's POV

Aaron ended up hiding at Laurence and Garroth's house. 

Keep in mind, no one knows we are dating.

Ya.......Aaron should get out of there soon. 

He's smart, he knows when to run away when he calls me a potato so.....

"Mija, I have a business trip that will take a few days, will you be okay alone?". 

She had on a concerned face, her almost constant go-to face since the accident.

Heh......my mother will never change.

"Mom I'll be fineeee.......just go," I say emphasizing the E. 

My mom loves her job and she has been so stressed since the accident.

She desearves a bit of freedom.

"Fineeeeee," She said in a squeaky voice, mimicking me. 

"Love you and be careful...." She blew a kiss at me and I reached up my hand to catch it and place my closed fist to my chest.

"love you too!" My mom smiled and wheeled off her luggage.

The moment she closed the door, I snatched up my phone and texted Aaron. (Admit it, you do this too)

Aaron's POV

2 minutes before.....

*Play Song*

I heard a ding come from my phone. I was sitting on my couch, watching SAO.

Not watching ahead mind you, I was in the dog house for a while for that one.....

I looked down at my phone and snatched it up, and looked at my notifications.

It was from an unknown number, but by looking at the message, I knew who it was.

That bastard, what did he want now!?

It read

Dad- Son, I need to talk to you.....

Blunt much? Son....I need to talk to you.....SO CLICHE, I WROTE IT IK BUT STILL.

For what he did to Mom....to me.......nothing could make up for that......

What he did...

...I haven't told anyone.....not even Aph.....

My dad is the leader of a serious gang that steals, kidnaps......murders....

He would abuse my mother and try to convince me she was evil.

I didn't believe him.....for...one...second.

My dad when I was younger, would train me to take over for the leadership of the gang.

My mom, wanting what was best for me, took me and ran away to Phoenix Drop....I haven't seen him since...

Until now....

He started a call and reluctantly and after taking a deep breath, I answered.

Aaron-......How did you get this number?

Dad- I have my ways.....I have heard rumors of you living in Phoenix Drop...Is this true?

Aaron- Seriously?! After 10 years you ask me this?! 10 years!?

Dad- Don't be so harsh......I would like to talk to you about something very important...

Aaron= Is it for the Shadow Knights?

Dad- Heh......I forgot how smart you are boy......well yes, I going to need you to take--

Aaron- WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO A THING YOU SAY?! AFTER WHAT YOU..

Dad-Temper...temper, son....you can't fight me......you will fail.....I will leave you be for a year....but...soon.....I will--

I ended the call, enraged and shocked. 

My mom has told me grave stories of him, what he did.

My phone dinged again.

 I looked down and my angry face resolved and became a smile. 

Aphmau said her mom wasn't home and if we could watch a movie.

.......wait.....no.......Aphmau......

He might use her against me.....

Why can't I just have a normal life with Aphmau!?

I turned off the TV and slipped my arms through the sleeves of my hoodie, feeling the comfort of the familiarity of it. 

I opened my front oak door (hehe IM EVIL MUHAHAHAHA cough cough) and closed it behind me as I felt the autumn breeze skim my face, the leaves of the trees flailing slowly in the wind. 

I walked towards Aph's house and knocked on her birch door. (*still coughing from failing at being evil so continue*)

She opens the door, smiling her adorable smile and invited me in.

We sat down and watched Fairy Tale.

We were also discussing Gray Full buster.

"Isn't he hot Aaron?" She asked, her eyes glued to the screen. 

We were sitting next to each other, she was leaning on my shoulder and my arm was around her waist. 

I raise an eyebrow at her and she giggled.

"Don't worry......Gray Fullbuster isn't anything compared to you...." She giggled and blushed red.

 "What about Levi?" I said, caressing her cheek with my fingertips.

She blushed redder.

I was too, the heat seeping up my neck and face.

"He may be an exception..." She started to say, but I cut her off with a kiss. 

I close my eyes and as she kisses back. 

We kissed passionately for about a minute, her lips enveloping mine, melting into the action until I pull back and ask again:

"What about Levi?" 

She giggled and said. "I take it back" 

We came back and kissed again. 

Her hand cupping my cheek, while the other rested on the nape of my neck. 

I pulled her from my side on top of me, holding the kiss.

She flinches so I pull away.

"Are you okay with this?" I asked, pushing down my thoughts.

She sighs.

"I'm sorry Aaron...I'm just..."

"It's fine" I interrupt her. "You're not ready I understand that."

She sighs once more, shaking her head, but in the end, manages a small smile.

"I love you, Aaron"

"I love you too...."

We continued to watch Fairy Tale.

Am I the only one just bummed out by Aphmau's decision to stop posting on Mondays...I know they need time to recoup and all but Monday is hard enough and at the end of the day, I need to watch new Aphmau content.
