Chapter 1~ hired

(Sapp get up!!!)~sapphire's mom Patricea shouted.

Ugh mom do I have to.

'Honey only if you want to live with an "annoying ogre"you can stay',mom said using my nickname for her "annoying ogre ".

Mom were am I going to get a job.

'I found you one down at miss Jones coffee shop', mom said.

'OK , thank you also ,I'm grateful believe me', I expressed my gratitude.

'I'm gonna go out to town so get dressed and be there by 8:00 for the interview', mom pushed me in my room.

(Message to mind)~ it's now 6:30 so I got quite some hours for myself ,I'll choose something appropriate to wear.

After standing for 10 minutes I did my usual brushing my teeth, bathing, getting dressed and combing my hair.

I've been to miss Jones ,coffee shop before , she's a very nice lady, she's in her mid forties.

She has short chestnut hair, hazel eyes, she's average height, about five foot six and her smile is so pretty.

The time went by quickly and it was now 7:30. I decided to leave early following mom's advice to be early.

"As they say mothers know best".

I left home and went to  the nearest bus stop.

The bus was right on time, and  the coffee shop was not far from town so the drive was short .

Ding, I heard the bus bell signalling my stop.

I wasn't nervous nor was I that courageous.

Good morning,  one of the workers greeted me.

Good morning I'm here for an  interview with miss Jones for the serving job.

'Oh you must be sapphire Rojers right this way please', she led me to a door with the sign manager.

She knocked on the door and I heard a lady's  voice saying come in.

'Miss Jones,miss Sapphire Rojers is here for the interview', the worker said.

OK ,let her in and you can go back to work.

Good morning miss Jones.

'Good morning sapphire', she greeted me back.

So let's start the interview by asking you some couple questions.

First one first , do you have any experience in this job area before.

Yes I have , I've worked at a café in myres hill.

OK.

"I already know you have your subjects required, your an awfully brilliant young lady miss Rojers', miss Jones said.

Yes miss Jones and thank you.

You'll start working on Monday.

Oh my god, thank you miss Jones.

'It's my pleasure to dear and be safe you'll get the instruction paper first thing in the morning', miss Jones said.

I left the coffee shop with a proud smile on my face.

I reached home early to see mom watching something, I also decided to prank her telling her that I did not got the job.

Honey how did it went , did you get the job , when do you start.

She bombarded me with questions.

No, mom I'm so disappointed.

'Oh Sapp come here there'll be other jobs', she engulfed me in a big hug.

Yes darling.

I'm kidding I got the job and I start on Monday.

'Oh my gosh, this is so amazing don't you ever do that again', she scolded me  like I was a five year old girl.

Mom made diner and we talked and talked until I was tired.

I went to my room brushed my teeth and put on my pj's and went to sleep right after that.
