Chap 17 Sometimes We Need A Break

Dahvie's Pov

I was waiting for Kat to get out of jail, I was tapping my feet against the table and then all the sudden I saw her standing there looking at me "Here she is" the officer said "thank you", I looked at her and rubbed her cheek "Kat, baby are you still mad at me?" I asked and she pushed my hand away, she walked towards the front door and I followed "Well, let's go then" I said.

She got in my car and I sat down next to her in the drivers seat, I looked at her and she was staring out the window. I put the car in drive and pulled out of the parking lot, she was still very silent but I wanted her to speak to me so I drove off road. She didn't say anything at all, I drove some more and then I looked at her. She was still silent and I stopped, and she got out of the car "Kat" I said and she stopped but continued on. She sat on the back of the car and I looked at her through the mirror and played with my hands "Please don't do this".

I got out of the car and walked over to her "Hey" I said and she pushed me away "Leave me alone" she said and I looked at her "Baby, please don't do this to me" I said "Don't call me baby, you didn't believe me in the first place" she said and I looked at her "Kat, please" I said and she looked at the sky "Haven't you had enough of me?" She asked and I grabbed her "Listen to me" I said and she looked at me "No Dahvie, I've had enough okay just send me home please?" She said and I laid down on the back of the car "Damnit, Kat I'm trying my best and you know that" I said and then she looked at me "really? You do realize that trying your best to comment that you were wrong must be really fucking hard huh?" She said and I got up "Okay, Kat I'm sorry that I believed that you killed my best friend okay?" I said and she looked at me and rolled her eyes, "Kat, listen I'll make it up to you I promise" I said and she looked at me "really do you have any proof of that?" She asked and I hold her hand "Our engagement ring, it means that I truly love you with all my heart" "but you said-" "forget what I said, I was angry but I still love you and I will never ever stop loving you cause you mean the whole world to me".

She stood there, and then looked at me "I still can't believe you Dahvie" she said and I looked at her feet "What do I have to do to make you love me again?" I asked and she looked at me "Just give me some time okay Dahvie?" "Like we should break up?" I asked and she looked at her feet "to be honest, I feel like this relationship has turned toxic and we just need to do something". I felt my heart break a little bit "Dahvie, I'm sorry but I feel like this what we need" she said and I shook my head "Yeah, I'll take you home don't worry". We got home and me and Kat did our different things, but I felt something strange it's almost like someone was following me "Kat?" I asked "Yeah?" She was in the bathroom but I felt like it was coming from the kitchen, I got up and walked towards the kitchen seeing someone "what the hell are you doing here?"...
