The Forced Marriage (SHORT STORY)

Shopping Mall

One month into living here. Three weeks until we marry each other. Three weeks until my life changes forever.

I graduate next Friday and so Finley insisted on us going and getting my pictures taken and to get an outfit to wear I told him no but he insisted so know we are headed to the mall to for me to get new shoes, clothes, and jewelry, and he said even makeup and which that part I am excited about.

We pull into the mall and he comes over to my side and opens it for me. He holds his hand out for me to take and I grab it as he closes my door.

"Do you want food?" I asked as we walked in through the food court.

"Pig..."

"A hot pig at that!"

"Surrreee."

"Ugh! Your so rude!"

"I know." He laughed, "what do you want to eat?"

"Chinese!"

"Let's go."

We walked over to Panda Express and I got a big bowl with a bunch of random food in it while Finely got a subway.

"How's yours?" I asked him taking a breath after shoving food in my mouth.

"It's good."

"Mines better!"

"Your eating cat Grace!?"

"No I'm not!"

"Yes.. you are!"

"No it's general and cashed chicken!"

"Cats are there chicken."

"No!"

"Yup, there my dear on your fork is a little kitty cat."

I stood up and threw my food in the garbage.

"I'm done! Let's go shop!"

He laughs and throws his food away as well, " you didn't finish your cat though?"

"Shut up!"

"You love it..." he said grabbing my hand as we began to shop.

After finally finding and outfit I wanted we made our way to the register and the clerk scanned the white long sleeved short bottom romber and my brown boots.

We next made our way to the jewelry department and i found a pair of earring that are gold studs and super big and they get smaller as the go up your ear.

Then it was time for makeup! I got so excited when we got into the makeup store that I handed Finley my bags and darted to the makeup grabbing everything in sight.

I had ended up with three bags full of makeup and the bags were the biggest size they had.

"Enough makeup?"

"No not quite."

He laughed and took the bag from my hand and led me over to victorious secret.

"Um..."

"Do you want bra's and stuff or whatever? I mean while we are here."

"Yes!"

We walked into the store and I had picked pink, black, and a nude bra all of which were laced and then I don't even know how many pairs on underwear.

"I'm never going in there again."

"Why?"

"Do you know how many looks I got!?"

"Oh!" I died laughing at his remark and the face he had made. But then my face got serious when I seen the candy shop. "Candy!?"

"Why not. That store I actually like!"

I laughed and led the way to the candy shop. We decided to get the biggest plastic box they have which was around twenty dollars but only a five dollar refill. I filled my with at least one piece of candy in the site but had to put some in a second box because I ran out of room.

"You are an expensive girl!" Finely said as I ate the candy as we walked around the mall.

"You can afford it."

"Yes I can but still..."

"Well your gonna be dealing with this expensive girl for quite awhile. Till death do us part." I recited the wedding vow.

"Forever to hold."

"I don't remember the rest."

"Me neither."

With that we both died laughing in the middle of the mall. That was the best day I had ever had with anyone. And it was the day I realized I never wanted to loose him and I wanted to marry him and 'death do us part.'
