"Are you ready Gracie?" My mother asked as i looked at myself one last time standing in my dress, looking at my flawless loose hair, and looking at the makeup that was perfect in every way.
"Yes..."
My mom led me into the hall and down to the green woods surrounding it and all the white... White and green. It was beautiful. It was my dream wedding. I seen my father looking rather well. He stood with his arm out ready to lead me to my soon to be husband.
I walked down the isle and seen finely standing there with a smile ear to ear. I smiled back with an even bigger one.
We couldn't get down the isle any faster. It felt like it took hours I tried to urge my father to walk faster I moved my feet faster and wider but it still felt like forever...
We finally made it... Then I woke up.
It was all a dream... I still had two days until I got married... That dream was better than the ones I have been having... Finely cheating on me... The wedding not happening... That was the one I wanted... But I knew it wasn't the one I was going to get...
Finley was already gone for work and I had nothing else to do so I decided to go and visit him... I did not really know which office was his but I could find out.
I dressed simple but nice and just wanted to reassure myself today that my dream was the one that was going to happen not all my other ones...
I took one of Finley's extra cars and headed to his office. It was a huge skyscraper building and it took me an hour from our apartment to his office.
To my luck at the front desk there was a list and it had all of the people's names and room numbers.
Dawson Finley Fl. 14 room 29.
I smiled and got excited heading up to his office room. If he wasn't there I would wait and surprise him more.
I stood in front of his door and waited until my butterflies were gone. I swing his door open and all the happiness was gone. Until I seen him and a girl on his desk.
"Finley..." I cried.
"Gracie!"
"I should go..." the girl said getting all of her clothes. Before she walked out she looked at me. "I truly am sorry."
"Me too." She left and I walked in closing him door behind her.
"Gracie..." I interrupted.
"Do you love her?"
"What?"
"Do you love that girl?"
"I... Yes."
The tears fell... I knew he would never love me for real this was for our parents.
"Well... I guess you get to marry the girl you love now."
"Gracie I... I love you too..."
"It was forced. This is true."
"But..."
"No Finley. Let's not make this to hard than it has to be. I understand." I stood up and walked to his door.
"I'll get my stuff and go... I'm leaving for college soon anyway."
And with that I left... Not another word between us.
