Chapter 1

Today is the day I move out of my parents house and into my own, on a street they own.. Ok I'm not totally independent yet but I'm getting there. I just finished packing and it's only 9 o'clock. I guess I could eat breakfast.

"GARNET! Breakfast is ready. "My mum calls from downstairs. Speak of Shad.
"Coming!"I get dressed and rush downstairs to find my brother Zane eating while my mum flips pancakes.

"Morning mum."I gave her a hug and grabbed a seat next to Zane."Hey big bro! Came to help me move?"I asked with a wide grin on my face.

Zane turned towards me and pulled down his mask to speak."No.I came for pancakes ."He returned a smirk and I glared at him. Mum walked over and handed my a plate with food."Oh Zu Zu,that's not very nice."Zane rolled his eyes and stood from his chair."Fine. Lets get started I hear the truck outside."

[Time Skip]

After I pack the last box in the truck ,mom runs toward me with her arms open hugging me tight."Mum.Can't.Breathe!"

"Zianna,don't choke the girl."My father says with a light chuckle."Oh,Garte I'm just going to miss her so much!""Mum,I'll be fine and Zane will be there."I give them one final hug before Zane interrupts.

"GARNET,COMMON LET'S GO!""COMMING!"I give them a final wave and hop in the truck with Zane."Ready to go?"I smile and giggle replying with "As I'll ever be."

[Time Skip]

When we finally get there I open the door and take a look around ."Wow!This place is beautiful Zane!"I say in an excited tone."I see but keep it down other people live here."He says as he stands beside me.I could slightly see him smirk under his mask and I smiled back.

"Come on lets get your stuff inside."He grabs a box and makes his way toward the door of my huge blue house.I unlocked the door and placed a box on the ground.

" Wow! This is HUGE!!" I turn to Zane to see him chuckling at my expression. "Well I'm glad you like it and I believe your going to enjoy the people hear to!"

At the word people, my expression changes drastically. The idea of being around people was never really my area. Being secluded from others was more my background ,so the idea of meeting people terrified me.

"Garnet are you ok?" He looks at me with a worried expression. "Um, how about we don't meet people! That sounds great right, right! Let's finish unpacking!" I started to head toward the door until Zane grabbed my shoulder.

"Look Garnet, I know you don't like being around people, but you have to meet them some time. So how about tomorrow I set you up to meet my friends?" He had this warm brotherly smile on his face that made me smile. "Fine... but just for you big brother." I smiled and we finished packing.

Dante and Travis said someone new moved on the street and Zane wanted every one to meet at Aphmau and Aaron's house tomorrow. Whatever he has to show us must be important because he would never plan a group gathering.

While on my way to bed, I hear someone singing. (Play music) I go outside to see a girl singing out the window of her house. She has a very beautiful voice.

While singing she turns her head and sees me watching her."Umm.... Hi." Her face turns a bright shade of red as she squeaks and runs in her house and closes the window.

Well it doesn't seem like I'll be seeing her soon! I decided to finally go to sleep, still curious about that girl.
