The cool air of the balcony makes goosebumps rise on my tanned skin. He is still holding my hand and I find myself wondering what it would feel like to have them wandering in more.. intimate places on my body. I shake my head and try to keep focus. But that train has already left.

By giving him a chance to explain himself, I've already failed the plan. I've already failed my best friend in the whole wide world.

"What are you thinking?" His raspy voice breaks through my thoughts.

"That you should start talking before I really lose my patience." I lie through my teeth.

"Okay. Before you listen, just broaden your mind for me. I'm not who you think I am." He says with a tremble in his voice.

"Who else could you be," I say to him looking into his eyes.

"I didn't hurt your friend. She just was... surprised to see me. She's my half sister. Fuck, that's weird to say out loud." He says looking at the sky.

"What?" Confusion filled my head. Sasha doesn't really talk about her family, but I would think she would mention if she had a sibling. Sasha would sometimes confess how alone she feels in her family after drunken nights, but she would never elaborate.

"My dad left my mom for an 18-year old model. Sasha's mom. We both have been successful in avoiding each other's families in the past." He confessed.

"What happened when you guys saw each other again." I marveled at his words. A few things in my head clicked in place, but I still wondered what happened that night that could have caused Sasha's complete mental breakdown.

"I don't know. We just talked. We hadn't every really spoken to each other, for reasons you can figure out yourself. But, it was good. We just talked about ourselves." He admitted while looking into the horizon.

"Then why did Sasha react the way she reacted," I said in curiosity.

"React like what?" He questioned.

"I don't know. She was just quiet for a couple weeks and refused to talk about it. So we just assumed the worst" I said, with a lump growing in my throat. I suddenly felt guilt building up in my stomach for treating Julian the way I did.

"What? So does this mean you don't hate me?" He said with a growing smirk.

"Hey, hey, hey. Not too fast there. We both still don't know what's happening with Sasha right now, so you don't have my complete trust. However, I would like to keep you on my radar." I admitted.

He takes to steps closer and his face is only a couple inches away from mine. I can feel the warmth radiating from his body contrasting from the cold city air engulfing me.

"And tell me, how would I be able to stay on your radar. Hmmm?" He murmured, his lips barely grazing over mine. We stayed standing like this, faces nearly touching, breathing in his exhale, and him shivering when my top lip brushed over his bottom lip. With some sort of superhuman strength within me, I was able to pull away and dig into my purse for a pen.

He looks at me in amusement as I struggled to find a pen, and when I finally found it, I grabbed his wrist and scribbled my name into his wrist not so delicately.

"Well doesn't this feel familiar." He smirked.

"Shut up." I said, ignoring the tingles throughout my body.  He raised his hands in defeat.

"Now, get out of my house please. Thank you." I stated as nicely as possible. I needed his body as far away from mine as possible.

"I hope we meet again. " He said and backed out of the door and disapearred from my sight. There was something in his voice. As if he had something planned. When I head a door slam in the distance. I was finally able to let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. It was as if all of the oxygen disappeared from the room, and was filled with a different element. An element undiscovered,
