I don't want to be all rules and regulations, but y'all we need rules to have a good, safe, and fair time here so. . .yeah, and I'll know if you read them or not. I got eyes everywhereee! ;)
R U L E S
To be involved in this book club you must cohere to all of the rules stated below:
+ You must follow this page in order to remain updated with the book club.
+ You are permitted to submit your own works, just as long as your main goal is not solely to gain more reads/votes.
+ If your book is not chosen that week you may submit again for the following weeks club. However you are not permitted to submit the same book more than once per week.
+ In shorter terms, no spam.
+ All genres of books will be accepted for submission, however, I would appreciate a warning if your book contains mature material - after all, this club is open to all ages.
+ The amount of reads on your book will not affect its chances of being featured.
+ You must be willing to read other people's works shared in the book club. See, if everybody came to this club in order to share their own works and leave, nobody would get any featured attention at all, and where is the fun in that?
+ The password for the authors submissions will be your favourite day of the week, and for the general submissions, your least favourite
(put this somewhere in your form so that I know you have read the rules)
+ You must be polite when commenting or leaving feedback on any of the featured works. Offering helpful, encouraging advice and ways they could improve is fine, but don't rip apart their story.
+ In shorter terms, be nice.
+ I suggest adding this book to your library so that you don't miss an update of the book club, but this is not an essential step.
+ Each week, one book will be chosen to be featured as the book of the week - based on which submission I deem my favourite for that week. This book will then be added to my public reading list "Book Club Must Reads".
+ If you would like the opportunity to help me out in selecting books to feature each week, please leave a comment here and let me know! I get a lot of submissions every day, and would be eternally grateful for the help!
