Kira felt the breeze on her skin and sighed. The sunlight also reached through the trees blowing in the wind and warmed her, and she was grateful for the small amount of heat. This planet was cold, and any heat she could find she was content with.

This was not what she had signed up for when she agreed to this mission, but she had to admit it was interesting. She was with Luke and Leena for the time being, off exploring, and didn't know why they'd decided to split up like this but was happy with the fact that it was only her, Luke, and a child.

If she wanted to do anything, now would be the time.

No. A small voice whispered in her head. It'd be much too obvious, especially with the child being the only other person around him. You can't kill him until you have a believable cover.

Kira sighed and relented, standing up and brushing off her clothes. Her hands found the tree next to her, and she called out. "Luke?"

"Here." He replied, and the sound reached Kira's left ear first. She walked over to him, but he reached a hand out from below her, meaning he was sitting down.

"Watch it, there's a steep drop that I'm dangling my legs off of." He informed her, and helped her sit down safely. Her legs found the side of the cliff, and she let them hang in the wind and air as well.

"You know, this is a lot like Bespin." She remarked, and it was. Except on Bespin the sniper stationed had been sloppy and shot her instead of him. Pathetic.

Luke was abnormally quiet as he responded. "Yes, it is. Especially with our legs hanging over like this."

Kira felt the hints of a smile on her face. She remembered the nice talks the two of them had, and she even remembered feeling his heart beat nervously.

"Well, you're definitely not as nervous as last time, that's for sure." She tested, smiling. Is he?

Luke chuckled, and sighed softly. "Well, considering being with you for so long lead me to be captured and tortured and put into a coma, you'll forgive me if I'm a bit hesitant to agree with you."

Kira's smile turned sour at the memory, wincing as she remembered her own punishment for not getting rid of the Jedi yet. She had been lashed as well, and though not as harshly, it was still painful. Her mother was merciless when it came to punishment, which was why Kira wouldn't fail her ever again.

Luke cleared his throat and stood up, helping her up as well, and lead her over to the small campsite where Leena was resting. "Leena, you ready to keep moving?"

"Yeah." The child responded, her speech a bit slurred from sleep. Kira appreciated her enthusiasm and hardened interior, and she felt that the kid reminded her a lot of herself growing up. As a child Kira was raised to be morally ambiguous, not being 'good' or 'bad' but both in order to make it easier for her to transition from role to role. Right now she was playing the good guy, and it was easy for her.

But she could be the bad guy much more easily, and she had in the past, killing and bleeding and cutting without batting an eye. They were all just jobs to her.

Kira sensed the grey area inside Leena, the small fire of evil that was growing every second but the coolness of good that balanced it, kept it in control. She was a feisty one, and Kira wondered how Luke, with all his goodness, could possibly relate to either of their grey morals.

Kira couldn't use the Force anymore as long as she was in character, but she knew a good, bad, and ambiguous person when she saw them. Or... Analyzed them; she couldn't see anymore either.

"Let's go, then." Luke responded, and Kira waited for Leena to approach her in order to start moving. Leena had made an extension on her pack that allowed Kira to grab it, and it extended as long as she needed it to in case she somehow got separated from the two of them.
