-9 How to kill your Brother

Hayley POV

"where's Klaus"

Elijah and I stood there confused in my future child's room with puzzled expressions on our faces' as we wonder where Klaus is.

"I don't know " we then leave the room as we clearly could tell Klaus was not in there and headed to Klaus's room and he was not in there either . Then immediately after we left we saw a shaken up kol . He quickly scrambled towards us and spoke.

"have you done anything that could potentially enrage Klaus? because I saw him take out the white oak stake from a secretly hidden place I didn't even know we had in he throne room" Elijah and I just stood there dumb folded as the information kol gave us sank in.

"Elijah ,Hayley I know sometimes I can be aggravating and annoying and piss the hell out of you but I don't think Klaus would go to such extremes as to kill me , and he hasn't used the daggers since Hayley's been around which is his normal strategy to handle us when we disrespect him in anyway , so tell me brother have you done anything at all that might upset him?" he asked concerned for his brothers well being .

Elijah just quickly let the info kol gave us soak in then vamp-speeded to the throne room which was the last place he was seen. Inside he did not see his brother while Hayley ran to catch up with him and made it there a little while later than he did. Klaus was still in the throne room hiding behind the door and as soon as Elijah stepped foot in their he stabbed a large shard of the white oak into his spine . Elijah let out a shout in pain and Klaus took the stake out but splinters of the oak was still left inside Elijah piercing his heart as each of his heartbeats lead him closer to death.

Klaus let one thing pass his lips "cemetery "

Elijah tried reaching into his wound but couldn't and Hayley made it time for his rescue

"Elijah ... what are you okay" she then saw him wincing in pain and realised how stupid she was for asking that .

She then quickly made it there and helped get the splinter out of his spine .

"OMG what happened ,where-where is Klaus" she then used more confidence in her voice.

"he told me to meet him ,  he knows about us Hayley " Elijah replied and Hayley took a step back without even realising it .

"What What WHAT  HOW " then calmed herself down and added "when I kissed you... he must of saw that was the only way he was fine before then..." she looked down disappointed and ashamed of her foolish actions.

"I have to go deal with my brother" Elijah replied getting up out of his original position while trying to walk away but Hayley grabbed his sleeve and he turned his head to the side and looked down onto his arm and Hayley removed her hand .

"what do you mean deal with my brother you cannot harm him we have made mistakes by going behind your brother back and that's what caused him to go to these drastic measures I'm gonna go talk to him and hopefully if luck is on our side I'll be able to calm him down and doubtfully move on with our lives with you by my side Klaus moved on found himself a beautiful smart girl to spend the rest of their lives together and we can raise our beautiful baby together as one functional family . But lets be honest that's too much to ask ." Hayley exclaimed

Elijah just looked at Hayley and calmly said " I know but we cant very well do that when I'm dead, and I didn't mean kill Klaus just ... make him understand why we did what we did "

I let out a breath in relief and Elijah continued walking and grabbed papa tunde sword as a weapon to use against Klaus that would not kill him but put him in unending torment . He would of used the daggers but they don't work on Klaus because of his werewolf side , as he continued to walk .
