- 7 How To Catch A Liar

"Why would klaus lie to us"
After my talk with Elijah I went back to my room to think I got changed into comfortable clothes and brushed my teeth and wiped away all my makeup from my face once I was finished I sat in my bed , as always I didn't want to talk to anyone about it I only think about stuff on my own in the comfort of my bed and blankey . I heard klaus coming and turned to face the other way and fake sleep like what I done with Elijah, but the difference between them is klaus didn't know it was fake whereas Elijah did. I felt weird knowing that klaus didn't trust Elijah enough to tell him that or maybe he forgot maybe Elijah forgot maybe Elijah wasn't listening well that wasn't really the Elijah I knew , but there had to be some logical explanation for this right ?

Next day:

I woke up and checked the time I had nothing really planned to do today , except find out what Klaus's reasons were for not telling Elijah . I don't know why I was so bothered by it , I mean it shouldn't have bothered me this much. Klaus lied to Elijah , and I'm not even sure if he lied there might of been something else there were many reasons why he wouldn't tell him or forgotten or something. Anyways even if he did lie we have been keeping secrets from klaus and lying to him since the day Elijah and I first kissed so I shouldn't of been bothered by some thing as little and unimportant as this.

I already planned it I obviously wasn't going to go out and blatantly ask him "Klaus why did you not tell Elijah about moving up the engagement" or something like that, I don't really know something more casual and less obvious just hinting at the fact I'm really concerned and you know , bothered.

After I woke up got my usual morning routine , I guess done it was quite late , well for normal people anyway so I headed to the kitchen to get something to eat , I walked into find most of the family already there . Walked up to the fringe then it clicked seeing that most of them are already here , I could just ask them now so I decided now would be a perfect time "so, wow how were all of you able to keep that a secret from me " I smiled because it was actually hard to tell I was lying , wait they have super hearing ,but it only works if they want to hear something what if they wanted to hear something else but picked up on my heartbeat. I thought panicked by if my baby lie was already becoming unravelled , well it techniqually wasn't really a lie more of a question or statement , which immediately smoothed my heart beat , because I was sure if they weren't listening to it before they definitely could now because of my rapid heart rate .  

"Hayley you do realise we are all thousand year old vampires , lying is part of the job description so no one finds out our secret ,and anyway your not that hard to lie too." that statement immediately caught my attention , I am not a crappy liar.

"i am not a bad liar you know ,you wont be able to tell if I'm lying without you having to use your super hearing "

"I never said you were a bad liar, for the record you are , I actually said that you are not hard to lie too . What I meant is that even the worst liar in the world could come up to you and say aliens exist and you would believe it ."I widened my eyes in surprise of his bluntness.

"well vampires exist, werewolves exist ,witches even exist , hybrids , doppelgängers , heretics but once you sart talking about aliens , no, no , no  youre crazy, but for the record I actually don't think aliens are real but it wouldn't be that much of a stretch ," I replied sarcastically as I listed off reasons.

"yeah , yeah whatever you say " I just smirked because I think its pretty obvious who won that , but I decided to drop it seeing that I'm hungry.

I headed to the fridge and grabbed some milk for a cappuccino ,then remembered right I'm pregnant no coffee , God the worst 9 months of my life . Great well just milk or maybe tea, nah tea makes me sleepy . So its decided milk and lots of cookies.

Once I made my breakfast and finished it I headed to Klaus to help with the art gallery disaster

"Hey Kla. . .  WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"

Hiiii HAHAHAHA YOU GUYS R GONNA HATE ME I could of left it on a EVEN IGGER cliff-hanger but I decided to be nice , when I say even bigger I mean WAY BIGGER so y, before u start planning my death keep that in mind . Soooo what do u think I know I haven't updated in like a week but I started skl so I had to prepare and stuff I literally started a week ago and I already done a test today it was okay . . .  I'm not gonna say easy or hard because I feel like the universe / fate / destiny / karma is out to get me so yh. I hope this will do but from now on I will only be able to update weekly or something like that because if I have a test I study like a CRAZY person (I actually am one I have flipping voices in my head named after the characters in teen wolf the vampire diaries and the originals) I was hella emotional writing this chapter bc I was thinking about tvd and teen wolf ending and  started crying A LOT like loads of crying constantly. On another note my friend is gonna edit this book so it wont be so bad .

disclaimer the characters in this book are not that alike to the ones in the tv show they kind of r but in some ways no but its ok because I got the jest of it .
