I waved one last goodbye to my friends as we left the place I call home to move onto another. It was still quite dark, and the moonlight still struck across the sky giving off just enough light to see. The break of dawn edged its way slowly, pushing the charcoal abyss into a deep, amber sunrise. Rattling, the truck dragged itself down the pebbly road, struggling to get over every stone that it hit.7:00 am
Finally, after miles of driving through ghoulish forests, plots of grand landscapes and sinister buildings, we eventually got to our new home.8:00 am
This place isn't exactly what I would call 'homely'. An eerie forest surrounds the decaying building that has a strange vibe to it. I stood gazing at the fractured windows, shredded walls, damaged ceiling tiles, gutters that swung, dripping with the moss that covered them and what looked like grass that had been untouched for years. This was my new home.
