Revenge

I played the recording several times before I went to sleep that night. For some reason, I felt weird, almost hurt at the sound of Jungkook's voice. Then I felt bad for shooing him out of the room that day. 

Did I really like him though? He was a fuck boy, but I guess his actions will speak.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, and immediately shot out of bed. Today was the day Mark was being released. Now we could return to school together. Like we've always done.

Since the very beginning we have been friends. We didn't have anyone else but each other. 

I guess you could say, if he asked me out, I would say yes right away. 

But now with Jungkook here, I don't know. I mean he's cute and all, but he doesn't seem like my type. 

Then again my type is a cute boy. 

Maybe if I got to know him better, I would like him more.

I came back to the hospital around noon. He said that he was going to be released and that he had a surprise for me. I have no idea what it was though. 

I walked into his room and saw he wasn't on the bed anymore, he was fully dressed in his normal clothes with a bag of painkillers with him. 

"Ready?" 

"Not yet" He said, "Wait here" 

He ran out of the room and came back with him. 

You guessed it, Jungkook. 

Why was Jungkook here? 

"Back!" Mark said. 

"I can see that" I replied sarcastically. 

"(Y/N), I'm sorry..." Jungkook said as he politely bowed to me. 

Damn what did Mark do to him. 

"It's ok" I said. 

"Will you go out with me?" Jungkook blurted out. 

"Dude, back off. That's my line" Mark said. 

Wait what?

"What's happening?" I asked. 

"I was friends with her first!" 

"I asked her out first!"

"Which she rejected off the bat" 

"So? Persistence and patience is key" 

"Go out with me (Y/N), forget about this loser" Mark said. 

Was your best friend really fighting over you with some fuck boy? 

Yes he was. 

Both asked you out. 

Now the real question was, who do you say yes to?
