Battleship

After making plans to meet up at the library for the project, the bell rang and lunch began. I walked out to my friend's class and waited for him. His name was Mark. Mark Tuan. He, like her, transferred to Korea as well and since they lived next to each other for so long, it's a no wonder why we're best friends.

"(Y/N)!" He greeted her.

"Hi. Wanna go get some food now?" (Y/N) asked.

"Yeah. I'm hungry"

They both walked down the hallway to get to the cafeteria. They waited in the long line and eventually got their food. As soon as they did, a crowd of fangirls entered the room. Both (Y/N) and Mark looked at each other with a blank face knowing what this meant. It was them.

Them was referring to the seven boys the crowd of fangirls swooned over.

"We should go dude" (Y/N) requested to Mark. His response was a nod. She was stopped when someone called her name.

"(Y/N)!" It was Namjoon calling her.

She turned to Mark, back facing Namjoon, and rolled her eyes.

"What's wrong. One of the hottest guys of our school just called for you" Mark asked.

"Oooh. Is Mark falling for one of the seven boys?" (Y/N) said with a smirk.

"No. Just go see what he wants and then we can go and eat. Please?"

She rolled her eyes at Mark's pleading and walked over to the crowd of fangirls. When she found Namjoon and she gave him the confused look.

"Jungkook has something to ask." He said nudging towards Jungkook.

"난 당신을 좋아 (i like you)너는 내 여자 친구가 될거야? (will you be my girlfriend?)" He said in Korean.

(Y/N) was not shocked at the request. Hearing what Jungkook said, Mark rushed over and grabbed (Y/N) by the arm and they both ran out laughing. Of course, (Y/N) had already told Mark about the prank Jungkook was going to pull on her and he wanted to see what would happen.

They arrived at their usual spot. The roof. No one had caught them eating up there because they left no traces. They sat down and Mark began to eat his food.

"Hey! I was gonna answer!" She pouted.

"I was trying to be the nice best friend. What were gonna say? If you said yes, the fangirls would jump you and if you said no they would still jump you. So I just saved you from getting injured. " You should be thanking me". He remarked while eating.

(Y/N) rolled her eyes and began to eat. They both heard the door slam open and turned their direction towards the crowd of fangirls who were entering the roof.

"Geez why can't this be like any other school" She said while shaking, predicting what is going to happen next.

The crowd of fangirls started to walk closer and closer. Both (Y/N) and Mark stood up and Mark got in front of (Y/N). One of the fangirls had something behind her back but they couldn't put their finger on it.

The fangirl swung her arm out revealing the thing behind her back. A bat. She swung it at Mark and he fell to the floor. In shock, (Y/N) kneeled next to Mark, shaking him. He fell unconscious. She muttered an apology to Mark and ran out the door. She ran down the flight of stairs eventually meeting even more fangirls.

"I don't even understand why people do this. They're just a group of boys" She muttered to herself. She felt herself backing up until her back hit the wall.

"Shit. I'm trapped" She thought. The crowd ran towards her, taking turns beating her up. When they heard sounds of footsteps coming they all ran, leaving an unconscious (Y/N) on the floor.
