"We're just, we're just sitting here." He spoke into the mirror, in an agitated manner. It had been Hedwig, the nine year old boy; only one of the many personalities inside of Kevin. "She's out there, and you're just /waiting/ here!" He practically yelled, his voice childish, yet serious. "Now, calm down, Hedwig. It'd be awfully daft to go out there, just for that /girl/." Patricia tried to reason, her eyes scanning the mirror. "She's more than just 'that /girl/', Patricia, she's different!" Dennis spoke sternly, getting annoyed by the reference.
"Mr. Dennis, tell Mrs. Patricia! Kevin, he- he loves Casey, tell her!" Hedwig groaned out, his brows furrowed, as the baffle continued. With a soft sigh, Dennis raised his brows, his index finger tapping on his thigh. "Love is a strong word, Hedwig. We don't know what Kevin wants." At those words, Hedwig stuck his tongue out at the both of them, before going out of 'the light', not planning on returning any time soon. Clearing her throat, Patricia sassily spoke up, "Well, what a nice way to handle things, Dennis." Scoffing, the male ran a hand across his head, clearly getting frustrated with the situation. "It's not my fault. I don't know why he's going on about her, he won't stop." Dennis grumbled softly. "Something had to have given him the idea." She stated calmly, folding her hands upon her torso. Shaking his head, Dennis waved it off, turning around from the tattered mirror for his coat. "We got things to do, we'll deal with this later." Was the last thing he said, before making his way out the door of the old house.
