PROLOGUE:
The crash we all expected to hit civilized soceity finally happened. Countries turned on one another, people turned to brutal lifestyles just to stay alive. The dust didn't settle for quite some time, and in that meanwhile alot happened.
Once there were no alignments between countries, every country resorted to using their military against one another. All out war was waged on each and every country, there was no partnership or alignment of any countries; everyone was on their own. And in this state, the most superior technologically advanced weapons were fired upon each country. Some countries were left in ash, others left with craters where large populations once inhabited, while the most unlucky of countries perished from chemical agents and radioactive fallout. Every country had been obliterated, in one capacity or another, weapons were unleashed and so was hell in the process.
The world burned for what seemed like ages, then in a sudden turn, it all went silent and the world went dark. We were back in the dark ages, no civilization, no electricity or machinery, it was all gone; everything humanity had contributed to our existence in the last 1000 years had been wiped from the face of the earth. Everything except one corner of the earth.
Around the northeast region of the earth, the nuclear fallout had been curved by air currents and there was an area of land that had not been bombarded with military weaponary either. The people in this small society felt the affects of the world around them crumbling, while their society wasn't victimized by the cruel behavior of the soon-to-be extinct societies of the old world. These people who were left in this dark age of humanity, had a choice to make. To either fend for themselves and destroy the last remaining sense of humanity left in the world, or turn their corner of the world into the last, living utopia for humanity to survive in.
