I run past the house, past the street, past my school and the mall and I'm not slowing down. I've never run this long before. Any other time I'd say 'screw that imma eat a cake' but this isnt any other time.
I reach the subway and stop. My sides, feet, legs, and head all ached, but I didnt care, I just needed to be away. Ya, thats right, I'll just not go home, I can do whatever I want out here. I control my fate.
"YOU HEAR THAT WORLD, I CONTROL MY OWN DESTINY!". People start to stare, but they dont matter right now, this is between me and the universe.
I run past the croud of pedestrians and into the middle of the busy street.
"THIS IS MY LIFE-" the last thing I see is the flashing lights and honking of the semi coming straight at me.
