C H A P T E R 1 6

Monday

6:45 am

Seo-Yeon's P.O.V

I dreaded getting up for school.

The past two days have kept me busy since my mother has been in the hospital. I did all the cleaning, cooking, and the grocery shopping.

Also visiting my mother, bringing her whatever she needed. The doctor said she's healing fast and if nothing goes wrong they might let her come home today.

On top of that, having to study for my upcoming exams, ugh.

I haven't been able to hang out with my friends or even have a decent conversation with them.

Mina, Solhee & Do-Yun especially have been trying to get a hold if me, but I was too busy to reply so I would just send them a picture of myself showing them that I'm alive.

Anyways.

I threw the covers off of my body and headed to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

I let the warm water hit my face instantly feeling relaxed wanting to stay like this forever, but then realizing that I have fucking school.

I quickly washed up and headed to my closet to get my uniform.

I looked at my phone to check what time it was.

7:10 am

Okay, I still have time to eat something before Mina comes. Mina had texted me last night, she said she wanted to talk to me about something. Not sure what but I agreed to walk together.

I went downstairs grabbing my bag and phone.

I left my bag on the couch and headed over to the kitchen. "Hmm what do we have to eat." I said while looking around.

I ended up getting a yogurt and an apple.

7:28 am

~Bing Bing~

1 new text message from Mina

~I'm outside.

I wrote her back and headed to the front door.

"Hey." I smiled at Mina, but she didn't return one back. Hmm is something wrong? Did I do something?

We walked in silence till I decided to speak.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" I asked.

She let out a sigh, "Seo-Yeon. I'm fucking sorry. I'm the one who gave Jisoo the information about you. She said if I gave her the information she would talk to Jae for me. I'm so stupid for doing that. I don't know what I was thinking. I don't know why I didn't tell you sooner. I didn't think she would go that far."

I was in complete shock. Mina was now crying her eyes out. I didn't know whether I should hug her or walk away and leave her there.

"Um, I really have nothing to say to you right now Mina." With that I walked away from her. I decided to take the long way to school.

Mina did this. I can't believe it. I would have never expected her to do something like this being that I knew her the longest. Thinking that she was someone I trusted. Now I can't even trust her.
