C H A P T E R 1 9

3 Months Later

Seo-Yeon's P.O.V

After School

4:20 pm

I was currently walking behind Do-Yun, he hadn't noticed that I was behind him. I had told him that I was waiting for him outside the hall since I had to leave class early to attend a meeting with the counselor to discuss my grades.

I slowly crept up behind him. As I was about to jump on his back he stopped suddenly causing me to bump into him and falling on my butt. "You know you're not that quiet right?" He said turning around with his hands in his pockets. He had a devilish smirk plastered on his face as he saw me on the floor.

I got up and stuck my tongue out towards him then started to walk in front of him. I could hear him laugh and quicken his pace to catch up with me.

"What did Mrs. L tell you about your grades?" Asked Do-Yun as he placed his hand around my shoulders moving me closer to him. I placed my arms around his waist, "She basically was telling me that I'm doing good in all my classes and I'm passing with mostly A's." I said feeling proud of myself.

"All right! That's my girl!" He said kissing the top of my head.

We made our way outside heading towards the parking lot.

"What was your mom gonna make today?" He asked unlocking the car. We both got in and buckled up. "Hmmm I'm not to sure." I said looking at my phone.

On our way to my house I had plugged my phone in and started playing some music. Do-Yun was currently singing his heart out along with Sistar's I Swear.

"I swear nan oneulbam, I swear (promise you baby). Ojik neoman naege wiroga dwae. Niga ttagiya. Meant to be baby. You'll always be mine. I swear geudaewa na. I swear (promise you baby). Kkok matchwonoheun deutan uri dul sai. Oneureul nochimyeon huhoehalgeol ara I swear!" He sung so loud that the people walking by would just stare at us. When Do-Yun noticed that people were staring he would just sing to them.

They would look away immediately. They probably thought he was a special child.

He is. V E R Y special.

We made it to my house. As I was about to get out of the car Do-Yun stopped me. "Wait here." Do-Yun got out of the car and made his way to my side. He opened the car door and offered me his hand which I gladly took. "Wow, since when were you such a gentleman?" I asked with a hint of sarcasm. "Haha your very funny. I've always been a gentleman." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me along with him to my front door.

"Mom were home!" I yelled as I closed the door behind me. "Babe can you put my backpack in your room. I'm gonna go see if your mom needs any help." He said while handing me his backpack. With that he disappeared into the kitchen.

I ran upstairs to place our stuff on my bed. I quickly changed into some tights and a big oversized tee-shirt. I then made my way downstairs again to join Do-Yun and my mother.

As I entered the kitchen I saw my mother sitting down by the counter doing a crossword puzzle and Do-Yun in a apron. Ha, very cute. He was cutting some vegetables and tossing them into a bowl.

"Mom do you want me to set the table?" I asked walking towards the table which had the plates stacked on top of eachother along with the silverware.

"Yes honey, that would be helpful." She said smiling while looking down at her puzzle book.

Soon after everything was done as we were now seated at the table, passing the dishes around and stacking our plates with the homemade meal.

"Do-Yun, how's everything going for you? Have you decided on what you wanted to do after graduation? Are you gonna go to a university?" My mother was asking him all these questions and I couldn't help but to feel worried.

It got me thinking about what is going to happen to our relationship after he graduates.

"Actually I was thinking about going into the medical field to become a doctor or even a psychologist. It has always been my passion to help those who are sick and in need of help." Do-Yun said proudly.

"And as for universities my goal is to get into Seoul University. I would like to go to a university somewhere close to home, but I want to go and explore other places besides Busan." I stayed quiet listening to what Do-Yun was telling my mother.

He wants to leave?

Will he come back?

"May I be excused." I asked getting up. "Is something wrong honey?" My mother asked as she looked at me with worried eyes. Then I quickly took a glance over to Do-Yun who had the same expression. "Oh no everything is fine. I just need to go to the bathroom." I said as I waved my hands side to side, making it seem like there was nothing wrong.

I got up and instead of going to the restroom I went straight to my room, closing the door behind me. I paced my room back and forth over thinking everything, causing me to get a headache. Ugh. I held my head in pain.

I kept thinking about what Do-Yun said.

If he goes off to uni will he find someone new? Will he forget about me? Why does this remind me of my old relationship with Jun-Young.

~Knock Knock~

"Come in." I said sitting down on my bed.

"Hey. Is everything alright babe?" Do-Yun said taking a seat next to me. "You seemed pretty distant and quiet during dinner."

I let out a heavy sigh, "Yeah I'm fine, just got a headache that's all." I said with a weak smile.

"Okay well I'll let you rest babe. I'll see you tomorrow morning. Hmm be ready by 7:30." He said getting up from the bed.

I smiled,"Will do Sir." He leaned towards me and gave me a kiss on the lips before leaving.

2:36 am

"ARGGH, why am I up." I said quietly to myself. I laid there in the darkness, letting the thoughts come back into my mind. Suddenly feeling insecure about our relationship.

Would he wait for me? No of course not!

Will he find someone better then me? Probably.

Is it better to end it? Fuck I don't know!

I laid there for two hours wide awake trying to go to sleeping, but failing in the end.

4:43 am

I closed my eyes once again and at last fell asleep.

Ugh.

Dreading the next few weeks because of testing and finals.
