It's been a while Sir Andy confessed his feelings for me. And I have proved something about him, that he's kind. Kind to everyone particularly to girls, I guess. It may be because he's a young, good-looking man, and a professional teacher. He is also a man who is very passionate to his job. But seriously, I don't like him not even a bit.
Ever since the day he confessed to me, he would always ask me to have lunch with him. I refuse to his requests because I think it is inappropriate and I don't want to cause an issue at school because of him.
But I've noticed that I am not the only girl whom he is trying to ask out. Also, many girls admire him because of his good looks and charisma.
I'm in class and he's having a lecture at this moment. As soon as he finished discussing, everyone left excluding Steph, Dale, And I.
"Andrea, want to have lunch with me?" Sir Andy asked with a weird smile on his face.
"No, thanks, Sir. I'm having lunch with my friends." I answered.
"Oh I see. Alright then." He replied.
"We better get going." I told my friends.
I left my bag inside the room because I was in a hurry. I don't want to be in a conversation with Sir Andy. Luckily, I had my wallet in my pocket.
We got outside the room and went to the cafeteria. Fried chicken is in the menu and we ordered that as our meal. I'm starving and stressed out due to school works.
The cafeteria was crowded with students but luckily, I found a table for us to eat.
I haven't told my friends about what Sir Andy has confessed to me. I'll let them know so they would help me out. But what will Dale say?
"Guys, I have something to tell you." I said.
"What is it?" Dale said.
"Spill it." Steph added.
Here goes nothing.
"Sir Andy asked me out to dinner on his birthday and he said something that has confused me for days." I answered.
"He said he likes me." I added.
Steph spilled the water from her mouth and Dale was in a shock. Well, I was expecting that to happen, though.
The two were shocked. Nagulat sila sa sinabi ko.
"Wait. What? He likes you?" Steph asked.
"Yes, you heard that right. I thought you already knew because he was always calling my attention and such. But still, I don't like him. It sucks to be me right now. Half of me wants to ignore him yet half of me wants to act natural and keep calm." I answered.
"May be you should just let it be. I know you're have a rough time but don't carry the burden all by yourself. You're with me. Us, I mean. Don't be pressured about it. It's no big deal." Dale advised.
"Thank you, Dale. I appreciate that so much. Steph, promise me to keep it as a secret, alright? Besides, I think Sir Andy likes a bunch of girls aside from me. Plus, he's not my type. He's dreamy but I only have nightmares. And I am focusing on my studies." I said.
"Noted. You're right. He's my dream boy! Lol I'm just kidding. Dale is right, by the way. We are always here for you. If something or someone is bothering you, tell us right away." Steph uttered.
"Are you done eating? Let's stop our chitchat. People might think we're gossiping." Dale added.
"Yeah. We're done." Steph and I answered.
"How about you? Are you done? You barely ate something." I asked.
"I'm full. We should head back. It's already time and we might be late for our next subject." Dale said.
"Come on, let's go." Steph said.
We hurried back to our classroom.
I am blessed to have such great friends. For that, I am very thankful.
As we got inside the room, I called them.
"Steph. Dale." I said.
"Thank you :)" I added and hugged them from behind.
"No problem. We're your friends, after all." Steph said.
"That's why we are here for you. This is what friends are for :)" Dale said.
I was moved. This is so heartwarming.
"We should keep quiet. They're looking at us already." Steph said.
"You guys are too noisy. I'm a serious person. Remember?" Dale said while smiling.
The three of us laughed at Dale's ridiculous sarcasm.
I took a seat beside the window and leaned toward it. It was starting to rain outside. It's a good thing that I don't feel gloomy and cold at all. In fact, I feel warm inside.
"Good afternoon, class." Sir Andy entered the room and said.
Why is he here all of a sudden? Isn't our class supposed to be personal development?
Everyone murmured but I saw Sir Andy's face. He was quiet worried of something. What could it be?
"Class, my phone is missing. I think I left it here inside the drawer of my table. I'm not blaming anyone here but I'm assuming someone took it. I also lost track of it. But the authorities of our school gave me permission to check the bags of each and everyone here. Please do cooperate." Sir worriedly said.
As a class president, I stepped up in front.
"Everyone please put your bags in front." I announced.
"Andrea, sit down. I'll do this on my own." Sir said.
That's weird. I guess he's in a bad mood. I went back to my seat and put my bag in front for inspection.
Sir Andy checked the bags one by one and the bags left were five. We are a class of 40 students so I guess Sir Andy's phone won't be stolen by one of us. I was scanning the room to see if anyone's face looks guilty while suddenly,
"Andrea Santos, why do you have my phone in your backpack?" Sir angrily asked.
What?! Why is his phone inside my bag? Damn, I got framed! Who would do such a thing on me?
"Sir, I did not steal that. Someone framed me! I would never do such an act! Please listen to me!" I tearfully said.
"Come with me to the principal's office." Sir did not hesitate and answered back.
What's going on? Why did this happen to me all of a sudden? Who could the culprit be? Is he trying to destroy my reputation? If I don't prove my innocence, I'll definitely be expelled. God, please help me.
