Deuce hold his books as he gently put one in, one by one. Not wanting to bend or accidentally tare one of the pages. As he put the last one in he noticed Jackson walking towards them. "hey you done?" Angel nodded "wanna head to lunch?" he asked him. Again he nodded but didn't really speak. 

Angel followed him and Deuce who walked not ahead or behind but right beside him. They didn't speak but the air around them was calm. Jackson walked ahead, but Deuce never left his side. "um you can go ahead?" Deuce smiled "nah, i'm cool walking with you,"

Before he could ask why something tackled him sending him to the ground.

"ANGEL!!" It was his brother Nathan he had tackled hug him. "how was your day? you ok? made any friends?" he didn't stop and continued asking questions Deuce smiled as he watched Angel try to answer Nathan questions but never could since he never gave him a chance to say a thing before another question was asked.

"you know each other?" he asked Angel who nodded shyly, "we're brothers" he said. Deuce smiled and nodded "that makes sense, he's always talking about how talented you are" Angel blushed a little.

Nathan notice this and couldn't help but worry since Deuce belonged to Cleo. Like a pet. But then he noticed how Deuce eyes followed Angels every move, and a smile crossed his face. Knowing that they'll be fine.

Nathan grabbed Angel's hand and began to lead him towards his friends, "brother?" 

"your eating with us" Jackson nervously followed not sure if he will be wanted, Deuce followed the minute Nathan pulled him away.

At the tables sat a group of mostly ghouls but there were some guys. Nathan smiled brightly and sat next to who Angel new to be Frankie, his ghoul, "guys this is Angel my little bro" He blushed as Frankie hugged him, "oh my ghoul, i'v been so excited to meet you" she said smiling happily, "so how do you like monster high?" she asked Angel smiled at her, and Deuce felt like his world just became lighter, "amazing i love your library....." he said quietly .

"maybe i'll be able to stay here longer" his voice had a bit of sadness that only Deuce and Nathan seem to notice. 

Frankie smiled and gently ruffled his hair, "i'm sure you'll love it here, at Monster high everyone is welcomed freaky false an-" she was interrupted by a loud voice.

"DEUCE!!"

it was Cleo, an she was mad. As she stomped her way towards them she pushed people out of her way not caring if they thought bad of her.

Nathan moved to shield Angel from her view drawing a confused look from him.

She poked Deuce chest hard,"where were you?!" She screamed. Others began to look at them. "I had to do something"he said calmly.

"like what?" Her voice hold no lies as she sounded jealous. Deuce ignored her and walked to the table where everyone sat. Nathan and Angel followed. He sat down next to Deuce who smile at him. Jackson was about to sit in the opposite side when a hand shot out and pulled him back causing him to land in the floor.

Angel stood and helped him up asking if he was alright. Jackson nodded and said he had to go, before walking out of the screamateria.

Angel glared at Cleo, "what's your problem?" He spoke not very loud. She didn't even look at him as she answered. "oh its you again" her voice hold disgust waving her hand at him "why don't you make yourself useful and get me my food"

Angel stood up" no I'm not your slave ....i get your a mummy but doesnt mean you have to be a bitch!" He yelled at her face,not noticing how everyone was shocked at his statement.

Cleo stood up and slapped him, "I'm your queen and Jackson is a freak he is spilt in two a normy and a monster...disgusting isn't it?" She asked but to her she knew they agreed.

But Angel had slapped her back, many monsters were shocked,here was someone who had the guts to stand up to Cleo the queen(bitch queen😉)

"if Jackson can't be here then neither can I!" Deuce stared at him as Nathan tried to calm Angel down.

Cleo looked at him,"an why not?" Angel stood his ground and faced her "unlike my brother I have 3 different scaretist "

It was silent, not even a gasp was heard, until Cleo burst out laughing, "haha oh my raw I guess you really are nothing but a freak" Angel faltered at her words.

"i-I'm no-" Cleo leaned into his face, "I guess that explains why you two don't look alike....your adopted" angel looked away as Nathan pulled Cleo back, "stop it" he growled at her.

"why its the truth soon everyone will hate him......hate the freak" she smirked as Angel ran out of the screamateria.

Deuce glared at Cleo and her smirked faltered as he stood and chased after Angel leaving her behind.
