Its been awhile....school is drowning tears have fallen

Angel woke with a bubble feeling, as though something good may happen. But he didn't know what, considering he didn't have anything plan. Shrugging his shoulders he ignored the feeling and got up to head down for breakfast. Except Nathan stood casually by the stairs looking straight at him. He knew that look, his brother was challenging him. In one jump Nathan dived down to Angel's feet trying to trip him. But he jumped over him and smiled at his shocked face, before jumping onto the railing and sliding down. What he didn't expect was Deuce to be there waiting for them. Luckily before he could crash into him, one of the snakes spotted him and let out a hiss of a warning, though he took a stance as though he was gonna be attacked he was still able to catch him.

Blushing heavily,he stuttered not knowing what to say, but Deuce had that covered.

"nice of you to drop in"

Angel stared at him as he smiled back at him, before he could stop himself a small laugh escaped his lips,

 "that was so cheesy" They turned to see Nathan sliding down the railing, "catch me!" he yelled  Angel let out a cute squeak, and hid in Deuce's chest as side side stepped him and placed Angel gently on the floor.  Angel stare as his brother shot through the door and a laud sound soon followed. He walked around Deuce to peek out the now zombie/unicorn shape hole. He couldn't help but winced as he saw Nathan laying near a now dented tree. Deuce looked from behind him, 
"damn that's gotta hurt, SORRY DUDE!"

Nathan groaned and sat back up, "its cool" he said but there was obviously some pain to his voice.

Angel smiled as he watched Nathan try to stand up, that's when he noticed Deuce was staring at him. He couldn't help the blush that dust his cheeks as he faced him. "so what are you doing here?" he asked him. "I wanted to know if you wanted to go out today,.." His face turned beat red, as it sounded like Deuce was asking him out on a date.

Deuce must of thought the same thing as his faced turned red and he began to stutter out some sort of excuse. "i i mean, l-l-ike a um a friend." he sighed in relief, as he believed it was a good excuse. He didn't see the look of disappointment cross Angel's face before he smiled at him. "sure, so where to?" he asked him. Deuce kept smiling as Nathan walked in and watched as they stared at one another. That's when Angel realized Deuce hadn't plan out the entire thing.

"you don't know where to go do you?" he asked him, Deuce smiled giving him his answer. He covered his mouth to cover a small giggle that tried to escape. "what about the mall?" Nathan suggested, "we went yesterday but Angel didn't get anything so maybe you can go look for something today"

Deuce nodded, "sound go-"

"NO!" 

They both turned to see Angel with a panicked look on his face, though he tried to cover it up, Deuce could still see something was still bothering him. "i mean, um why not go to the ice-cream shop near here?" he suggested. Deuce nodded with a confused look on his face as Angel smiled and ran back up the stairs to get dressed. He sat down and waited for him, and didn't question when Nathan followed his brother up the stairs, if anyone can get an answer it was him, being Angel's brother and friend.

Angel went through his closet and chose black short that used a chain to rap around the waist with a black sleeve shirt that showed his shoulders, but covered his neck like a choker. He stared at his reflection and debated with himself if he should keep his hair braided or down.

Nathan walked in as he began to brush it, "whats up?" he asked him, usually Nathan would've knocked but this time he didn't.

"why didn't you want to go to the mall?" he asked him.

Angel froze, as he left his hair down and put the brush away. "i just didn't want to" he told him without turning to him. His brother scoffed, but not in anger or disgust, "Angel i know you, what were you so afraid of?" he didn't answer him, instead placing his hands on his lap and looking at them instead of Nathan.

He felt a hand rest on his shoulder, "did something happen?.....did someone come up to you?" Nathan got his answer as Angel flinched, but he probably wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for his hand placed on his shoulder.

"who was it?" he asked, even though he had a pretty good idea on who it was, the person who had been cruel to him since they laid eyes on him.

Angel shook his head, and stood up so fast he spooked Nathan. "no one " he said, his voice was hard, as he tried to make his brother stop from asking questions again. But Nathan ignored it and grabbed his arm roughly turning him around for their eyes met, Angel tried to avoid looking at him but he grabbed his cheeks, forcing him to hold the stare.

"Cleo" he said

His eyes softened as his brother lowered his gaze, just before he could ask what happened, he smacked his hand away from him and grabbed his phone before running back to Deuce.

 Deuce sat up as he heard foot steps, only to see Angel running to him, and pulling him up and out the door. He could hear Nathan calling them to wait, but Angel never slowed down, and he knew something must of happened. Though he knew it was not his place to ask he made sure to remember to ask him when he as calmed down.

Angel began to slow down as he realized they were far enough from his house, "the ice-cream shop is only a few blocks away" he told Deuce

Deuce nodded and began to walk beside him neither let go of the others hand, Angel couldn't help but look down at their hand's , trying to hide the blush that brighten his cheeks he leaned his head down and watched his feet move. Deuce saw this and couldn't help the smile that slid across his lips knowing he made that blush on the boys cheeks.

both boys smiled, loving the feel of the other beside them, they ignored everything around them. Even when they walked into the ice-cream shop they never let go of the hand they hold.
