43|| Commercial Shoots ~ Pau Gasol

Pau's P.O.V.

"Guys, I heard they hired a new director." Tony stated as he took a sip of his water.

"Does that mean we have to know how to actually act or just recite our lines like we have been doing it for years." Manu chimed in. The rest of us chuckled as I shook my head.

"I don't know about you, but I am an actor. Hollywood is about to see me in a couple years." Danny said as he stood next to me. I looked down at him and laughed. These guys always have some jokes.

"In your dreams. Everyone know I am the true actor." Kwahi said as he posed with his hands on his hips.

"Last time I check, you hardly speak. How are you the true actor?" I asked him laughing.

"Shut up you Spaniard. I am an actor and that is all you need to know." Kwahi said smiling.

"A bad one at that for sure. You couldn't even keep a surprise party for your children without ruining the surprise." LaMarcus said as he patted Kwahi's back.

"That was horrible." Patty added. The boys went back and forth on who is a better actor and who will get a star on the walk of fame. Honestly I think they should stick to basketball.

"Woaaah. Tall people." I heard a female voice saying. The guys stopped their conversation as we turned around to see where the voice was coming from. Right behind of us was one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my entire life. She was extremely short but something about her just had me wanting her.

"This is cool. I finally get to meet the Spurs. I am Thea and I will be your director for today's shoot. So you guys can go to hair and makeup so we can get it rolling." she said as she smiled at us. I was admiring every single part of her body. I just wanted to hear her talk and talk and talk.

"Yooo Pau, we got to go and do this shoot man." Patty said as he snapped me out of my trance.

"He was too busy watching Thea he didn't even notice when she left. I think somebody is in looove." Danny said making the other boys do kissy sounds.

"Fuck off man. And I was not watching her." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"And I am not one of the greatest players in the NBA. Lets go Gasol." Manu said laughing.

"All you have to say Kwahi is "I'll just have cheese okay?" Thea said laughing at him. The true actor himself could not pass the one line and everyone on the outside set was laughing at him.

"H-E-B Commercial Shoot: Tony's Truck Take 15." Thea yelled as the camera started to roll. "And Action."

"I'll have some gruyere." Danny said pointing at the topping on the truck.

"I'll just have cheese." Kwahi said with a big grin on his face. I shook my head, knowing that Thea would have a lot of editing to do.

After we finished with the shoot, we were just standing around chatting with one another.

"Guys, thank you once again for doing this I highly appreciate it." Thea walked up to us with a smile.

"No problem it was fun, you are really good at this." I said smiling back at her. Her face turned a light pink as she nodded thanks and walked away.

"Dude. Talk to her. Get her to go out with you man." LaMarcus said as he patted my shoulder.

"She obviously like you and we all know you drooling for her. Talk to the lady." Danny said hyping me up.

"And you know us french and spanish men are quite the charmer. Use it on her." Tony said as he pushed me towards the direction of Thea. I looked back at them and they gave me a thumbs up. I never recall being so nervous in my entire life.

"Um excuse me Thea, can I speak to you for a second?" I asked as I walked up to her. She was speaking to one of he camera guys before she turned around to face me.

"Sure." she said smiling at me. That same smile had me doing back flips all day. "Give me a minute." she said to the camera guy.

"What's up Gasol?" she asked as she gave her full attention to me. I started to get nervous again but I had to ask her out.

"I was just wondering, if you would like to go out with me sometime." I said slowly. She raised her eyebrow at me with a smirk now plastered on that beautiful face of hers.

"I mean, not to be rushing or nothing. I just find that you are a beautiful and intelligent woman and I want to take you out some time to talk and stuff." I really need to stop talking sounding really stupid.

"We will see." she said as she smiled at me.

"Is that a yes or a no?" I asked. I'm trying to be sure on what my next move should be. I don't want to sound to desperate but I don't want to look that I am not even trying.

" I said we will see." she said as she giggled a bit and walked off.

"Sooo what happened?" Jay asked as the boys come towards me.

"I don't even know. She said we will see." I said as I watched the path she walked down. I was determined to be with this woman.

"Hey guys, thanks for coming to view the commercial before we officially premiere it. We appreciate you guys for doing it and here is our final cut." Thea said as she stood in front of the conference room in H-E-B headquarters. It was two weeks since the shoot and I was still trying to get with her. I sat back in my chair as the commercial played on the screen in front of us.

We all laughed at the commercial and clapped when the lights in the room came back up.

"Told you guys I was a great actor." Kwahi said grinning from one end to the next.

"Mr. 15 takes for one line. Okay." Danny and Patty said laughing. I took this opportunity to find Thea. I really needed to talk to her. I walked up to her and she smiled at me.

"Good job Gasol." she said as she gave me a side hug.

"Thanks, not too bad of a commercial, but Thea we need to talk." I said as I pointed my head to head towards the hallway outside of the room. We walked outside and she shrugged her shoulders.

"What's the problem?" she asked. I grabbed her face and smashed my lips against her soft velvety ones. She was in shook for a moment, but soon she started to kiss back. I slowly pulled away from the kiss and she had the cheesiest grin on her face.

"So about that date?" I asked smirking at her.

"Tonight at 7 should be fine." she said before she brought down my head and kissed me. We me made out for a moment until I heard some familiar voices.

"Oooouuuuu. Pau and Thea standing in a hallway. K-I-S-S-I-N-G" Kwahi and LaMarcus started to sing.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you grown men with children." Manu said as he shook his head the two.
